What Others Say

My experience with Lexus of Tacoma has been ineffable and not in a positive way. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life for a problem that should have been resolved in a timely manner. I purchased a Lexus hybrid UX in August of 2024 and had immediate problems with the Fobs requiring replacement batteries every 3 weeks. My complaints were dismissed. This problem continued for months despite certified letters from my lawyer with no response and having numerous phone calls with headquarters. The fact that I had to drive from Burien to Fife every 3 weeks in an attempt to rectify this problem added to the frustration as well as being locked out of my car in the middle of the night. In one instance they actually handed me a tray of batteries thinking this was solving the problem; incredibly insulting. They even gave me an insulated box with fob sleeves thinking that this was going to solve the problem. Finally one by one they replaced the fobs (which was the problem) after eleven months. While I am pleased with my car, I would recommend purchasing from another dealership. I will refrain from the expletives of how I really feel regarding the manager of this franchise.

Booo! It's 2025 and I just reached out to Lexus of Tacoma at Fife and they told me they cannot sell the car to me because I'm out of state. What???? Crazy talk. People buy yachts, planes and homes sight unseen and out of town. It's not 1987. I would understand if I said I wold have some shady cashier's check scam or asked them to ship it to me without paying or anything crazy, but nope-they just aren't willing to do business with someone from out of town. Nice, right? No wonder why they are sitting on a 2024 $100k Lexus and it's nearly two years old sitting on their showroom collecting dust and taking up space. Not a great experience at all! Booo!!!

Awful and phony sales staff. If you're not a dentist or a lawyer don't expect any sort of decent service.

I am thoroughly disappointed in Lexus, I bought a Lexus to cut repair costs but from my point of view maintaining a Lexus is not far from maintaining a Mercedes Benz. I won’t be buying a Lexus anymore for that reason. Regarding the maintenance my car has 108000 miles how does an AC/Heating system on a car that’s meticulously maintained and low mileage decimate that soon?? My car had a minor scratch on the body, I took my car to a Lexus certified body shop Paramount Collision Centre, before hand my car was in totally good shape and after going to pick it up in two days the AC/Heating system started being faulty, I’m not going to say this was pre meditated but it has all the signs to it, when I went back to the Lexus dealership of Fife they charged me 280 bucks for the check up and told me to fix the AC/heating system will cost 4000 to 6000 dollars, or I can trade in my car and get a new one, well they got the wrong guy here Lexus you can all the damage you want I won’t be getting any cars from you guys again if I can afford to fix this Lexus costing me 2000 every to months I can afford to fix a high end luxury car without the “premeditated” xxxxxxxx.

BUYER BEWARE! Just scroll down and you will see all the negative reviews. This place is a complete joke establishment. Simply put horrible. Most unprofessional dealership I have ever experienced. Salesman Nick Dang had zero knowledge of the vehicle he was selling. Had us confused with another buyer. Thank God the true colors showed during our last visit. Not sure why anyone would want to buy from this place. Owner should be ashamed! Owner condones this type of at atmosphere lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism. Not worth the time or energy.

My wife scheduled an appointment online six days in advance. The day of, I received a voicemail three hours before the scheduled time, informing me that a 4:10 PM appointment time was not available. Since my wife is a teacher, we were not able to make an earlier appointment. When I called to reschedule and voiced my frustration, they put some puffed up xxxxxxx on the line that was not empathetic, apologetic, or professional. I asked for his name, and he refused to give it to me. He forwarded me to the service manager’s voicemail “Nick”, who did not return my call. This is not the treatment that I would expect at a high-end dealer that made a scheduling mistake that literally derailed my day. Since I am approaching lease end, this has convinced me that Lexus and anything sold by O’Brien will be a poor choice. Instead of purchasing the car as planned, I’m going to have it serviced by Toyota and trade it in on another brand, so I don’t have to deal with the unprofessionalism and lack of caring exhibited by “you don’t need to know my name
