Took my F150 in for a major recall. Robbie, Raul, and Steve were awesome. I told them upfront I was going to review the work as last recall was a total disaster, they said Tommy is very particular about his work and not to worry. They were right, all was correct and looked great.
Took my wifes new Ford F-150 in for scheduled service 3 months ago. Today had service completed at another dealership where they showed me that a clean ( or any) air filter had never been placed back into my truck. Called Service manager Steven Chavarria at Artesia Ford to make aware of the situation and he replied "sorry about that", when I asked about his lack of concern he asked me "well what do you want me to do about it now?. Nothing except acknowledge your inability to provide a basic service, and that if I have any catastrophic failure related to your failure I will hold Artesia Ford legally responsible for any and all damages.
I have bought 3 Ford vehicles in the last 4 years. I tried to talk to this dealership but, their arrogant attitude was that's the price and take kit or leave it. On a work truck that was brand new, the visor clip broke. They made us pay for it. It was my fault not the manufactures. You would think a dealership that sells tons of trucks to our company would let us have a 15$ item on warranty. Well, those days are gone and yesterday 12-2-16 was the first time a salesman even approached me in 4 years. I always had to find one previously. I told him to get lost and pound sand I was just looking at MSRPs. I will NEVER buy a part or vehicle from this arrogant small town dealership, Drive to Lubbock and talk to the big boys, you will never be sorry. The days of buddy good oil company's propping up this Ford dealership are over. I for one will not miss this place when it folds or sells.
I cannot believe what a incompetent dealership this place is, I don't know if this starts with the manager and goes all the way down to the bottom employee. Its amazing when a person schedules a appointment to have maintenance or repair, you drop your vehicle off on the scheduled day and time, at which time you are told the time period for the repair. Later that afternoon you call and check the progress and are informed that no work has been done to your vehicle. So choose your dealership carefully
Tried online to get started on a quote for a new vehicle, and I was never contacted. Once I did go to the dealership to check their inventory, I waited forever and was finally given an outrageously high number for the vehicle I was looking at. Once I left the dealership, I was never contacted by phone or email to haggle on the price.
