What Others Say

Modesto Toyota has been my dealership since 2005. I trust their service and brand. Mike , the service advisor, is always exceptional. Knowledgeable, friendly, and always with a smile. I recommend this dealership 100%

This is, without question, the worst dealership in california and the worst experience I’ve had in California. What I encountered was a complete lack of integrity, accountability, and basic professionalism from start to finish. Starting Thursday, I was in direct contact with a salesperson named Xavier about a truck. I immediately placed a deposit to secure my position as second in line and even went as far as allowing them to run my credit to show I was serious and ready to move forward. I made my intentions crystal clear and stayed in consistent communication the entire time. Ahead of Saturday, I explicitly told Xavier—multiple times—that I had an event and would be unavailable that evening. I double- and triple-checked everything to avoid any confusion. Despite that, the truck was sold out from under me without proper notice. When I finally got ahold of Xavier, instead of taking responsibility, he tried to shift the blame onto me, claiming I was the one who was unreachable. That is simply false and completely unacceptable. After that, I was passed off to Cesar, who said he was “too busy” to help and never followed up as promised. I was ignored, left without updates, and effectively ghosted the entire morning. At that point, I escalated the issue to Mike Green, the General Sales Manager, expecting at least some level of accountability. He returned my call and apologize for their incompetence. From start to finish, this dealership showed zero integrity, terrible communication, and outright disrespect for their customers’ time and money. Taking a deposit, running credit, and then selling a vehicle out from under a committed buyer is beyond unprofessional—it’s dishonest. I strongly advise anyone considering doing business here to think twice especially with XAVIER and Cesar! Just go to a different dealership!
