My lease was ending in just a couple weeks and I stopped by Jeep of CHICAGO to start my shopping process. I met sTEVE b AND HE SHOWED ME THE NEW Jeep Compass suggesting it was a sclose as i could get to a Cherokee unless Id consider a used car- I was looking for another lease opportunity. I dont drive a lot and the warranty for lease vehicles is great- I stay in a brand new car every 3 years with maintenance covered, never out of warranty, it just really fits my lifestyle- ive done this for the last few cars, all Cherokees!! Steve B showed me the cost difference for new Compass vs buying the lease on my old Cherokee and with only 14k miles on the 2022 Cherokee, it was a no brainer!! I got a full warranty on my 22 to protect it like it is new and Im in a vehicle that I know in and out. It fits into my parking area with comfort and has options that are not available in the Compass- and when Steve B told me that the Cherokee is making a comeback.. as a Hybrid and potentially before the year ends- it made sense to just buy mine out. Otherwise I felt I would have to settle if I went into the Compass and then wouldnt be able to move into the new Cherokee if I love it when it comes in. But by buying the lease out, I have options otherwise unavailable. The whole idea of leasing is something I really love and look forward to doing it again, so Jeep.. PLEASE bring back the Cherokee and make it great again!! Steve B, thanks for the help and Ill see you again soon. I love my Jeep!! Jeep of Chicago has been goog to me over the years. I went in over the weekend and met Steve B, absolutley kept my experience as Ive come to expect of this dealer. I have been leasing Jeeps for most of this century- as funny as that sounds. After an unhappy interaction at another city dealer I landed at Jeep of Chicago the first time in 2022 just a couple weeks after the new owners took over. I continued to return for service and maintenance during my 3 year lease on the 2022 Cherokee, my 3rd one!! Only diappointment i met was learning that Jeep no longer makes the Cherokee- and the Compass isnt roomy enough. The Grand Cherokee would be great but in the city with limited parking, my Cherokee has been , well perfect. What to do?? Looked at options and came to the best conclusion and Steve B was able to make it easy. I had already confirmed with Chrysler the cost for me to buy out my Cherokee lease- itwas really my hopes to get a new car, however looking into the near future and seeing the Cherokee may return I wasnt thrilled with settling on a Compass so Steve B helped get the deal done for me to buy the Cherokee!! I was able toput protection on the Cherokee as well. I was concerned that even though ive only put 14k miles on over the last 39 months, anything can go wrong in the future. I know that Im secure with this Cherokee now and when the new ones come out if I find I love it, then I can trade into one!!! If I am not happy, I am safe and sound in my 2022 Cherokee Latitude Lux!! working for my family business repairing trucks for many years I learned that Cummins is great motor for hauling- now Im ready to start my own buisness hauling cars and Ive found the right truck. Jeep of Chicago had an awesome Ram advertised for a super low price and when I got there and met Steve B I was happier than I thought Id be. See, most dealerships are on xx and treat their customers like dollar signs- Working with Steve B felt more like a consultative discussion than a sales pitch- and I think that is very important. Im not trying to be sold anything- just give me the information I need and Ill decide what im doing. Steve B did that for me and was helpful with zero pressure. I was referred to Jeep of Chicago from a close friend and at Jeep i MET sTEVE b AND HE WAS HELPFUL IN GETTING THE EXACT Wrangler Sahara I had been hoping for.
