What Others Say
Wife had interest in a new Palisade so we went to our local Hyundai dealer Reliable Hyundai
salesperson Ray was very knowledgeable on the vehicle and answered all her questions and set the expectations for the sale telling us multiple times they eager to make a deal and had extra discounts this coming Saturday
We explained we had 2 trades and what they were a Subaru and a Toyota
Ray says ok we’re anxious to make a deal do to our extra discounts this Saturday
We told Ray when we would be available to bring in both trades Saturday
Test drove vehicle while our trades were being evaluated Ray continued to answer our questions about the vehicle
Ray also bragged about how many vehicles the dealership sold today and was eager to make a deal today due to our extra Saturday discounts
After our test drive back in the office is where things went south
We have NEVER been so INSULTED and DISRESPECTED as a customer our entire lives
When the # were presented to us selling price was window sticker price trade values were $8000 less than other dealerships plus there was a $3000 charge figured in for some protection plan that was never discussed
So the extra discount Ray assured us was available on Saturday never materialized
And we were never offered the rebate or financing option that Hyundai shows online
Other than product knowledge Ray lied to us about everything because he set the expectation for the Saturday sale
We say no deal
Ray starts to become a little combative and wants to make a deal but Ray at this point you have not even tried to earn our business
Told Ray we were pissed and would not believe another Word from Ray
Told Ray we would be going to Fletchers on Joplin
Ray just could not understand why we would walk away from Reliable Hyundai
Since we are local and drive 100 miles to Joplin
Ray what we need you and Reliable Hyundai to understand is you insulted us and disrespected us as customers
We did not just fall off the turnip truck
I was on retail for 27 years and my wife in banking for 37 years so I think we understand the process
We can buy a vehicle anywhere
You all have proven that you have nothing to offer us so we will be going elsewhere
Worst experience buying a car, but it turned out to be a good thing. The dealership totally screwed us doing things you expect from a shady used car dealership. Definitely learned a hard lesson. Fortunately, my contacting the national and international headquarters got their attention, and we were able to get out of the bad deal. Will never do business with them. Once bitten…
Purchased new vehicle and traded my Subaru, after so many emails, text, picture and phone calls decided buy the car, gave a $500 dollar deposit order the new Subaru Crosstrek, new Subaru was $35,560 the trade for my Subaru was $28,000 plus $6,000 money difference, I asked when the new Subaru come in will it everything still the same they said no problem, when the new Subaru came in I drove 3 hr to pick it up the price changed a
additional $8,000 more I made an appointment with my sales person when I showed up it was his day off. Someone else helped me and they had no clue what was going on, the manager came, and he had no idea what was going on and they told me the price would be $8000 more and there’s nothing they can do to help me. Meanwhile they have my money and I have the invoice and or ordered information that was email to me and have my deposit for the new Subaru I am not getting.
And 6 hr driving and 1 hr in the dealership. I don’t recommend this place to any one.
I don’t recommend this place to anybody the most unprofessional dealer I’ve ever been to
I purchased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz 3 weeks ago and had an absolutely amazing experience with Reliable Hyundai. My sales advisor, Noah Waller was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout my vehicle purchase process. When I picked up the vehicle, he took his time to walk me though all the safety, vehicle operation, and media features which i found impressive. I highly recommend Reliable Hyundai and will return when its time for my next vehicle purchase!
Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The temp outside was 100 degrees, but
everyone was alert and upbeat. Our contact person, Bryon Edgerton was on the
ball from start to finish. He was so pleasant and patient in showing us all the buttons and knobs of the car's dashboard. One can tell that he really knows his stuff.
Went to have oil change at just short of 17,855 miles on my 2020 Hyundai Tuscon, which is supposed to be included but i was charged $37.95. They told me at 12K miles I was supposed to change fuel filter but that was never mentioned any other time I had an oil change. I purchased an extra warranty to cover the electronics in the car. The USB for the android auto has a short so it works then cuts out. I have a brand new Google Pixel 6 and the cord they gave me when I purchased the car. They tried to tell me it was user error, which how can that be? If I have the cord they gave me and new phone and the android auto cuts out and doesn't stay connected how is that user error? I confirmed with another automotive professional that that is definitely not considered user error at all. That is a defect! I tried to call the store to speak with the general manager regarding my experience. The man whom answered the phone said the general manager was a very busy person and wouldn't take my call. If this is the type of business they operate here, I don't ever see myself doing business with them again! The fact the dealership leadership wouldn't speak to me at all is a clear sign to me that customer satisfaction and honoring what you say and sell is not at all how they operate.
