I put my truck in for a recall to be corrected and also have my driver's side door lock fixed. I knew I wouldn't be charged for the recall, but the door work would. No worries. I get a text message stating have my driver's side door lock fixed. I knew I wouldn't be charged for the recall, but the door work would. No worries. I get a text message stating it would be $120 and I can pick it up at the end of the day. Upon arrival at 4:30pm I found out that the door didn't get fixed, but the part was on order. The $120 was for diagnostics that I didn't ask for or want, I was never asked for that service. I was then told that it will be an ADDITIONAL $460 for the door to be fixed and was quoted 1.5hrs to fix it once the part arrives. The part is $60, so $400 for 2hrs of labor (200/hr.). I understand that dealerships are more expensive but to me this was very deceptive by making me think my truck was being fixed but instead was getting a service I never asked for but was charged. I had a really bad experience with my jeep 11 years ago when the dealership was Tim Whitehead and was taking a chance that new owner and new location would hopefully be a better experience but looks like I was wrong. I was even wanting to inquire about trading in my current vehicle for another one once fixed but I guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere. More
