Though driving away in a new vehicle is always pleasant, the same can seldom be said of the purchasing process. Sam Pack Five Star Ford offers a completely different purchasing process that is quick, efficient, easy and actually pleasant. Gone are the salesperson's continual and time-consuming trips to the managers' "cage." Gone are the insulting offers on the trade-in vehicle--together with the initial high pricing of the new vehicle and the ensuing back-and-forth price wrangling. Salespersons Josh Ingram and Lee Clanton actually took the time to search over a 700 mile radius on the dealership search engine in an attempt to find a vehicle that met my specs. Other dealership sales people seldom want to search elsewhere to any great extent in this regard. When it became necessary to order a new vehicle to get all the equipment desired, the ordering process was simple and the new F-350 was delivered in less than seven weeks. When I picked it up it was detailed and full of gas. And oh yeah, the time it took to settle on a price and the amount for my trade in was less than 15 minutes!! I drive nice vehicles and keep them nice. People ask me where I buy and how much I pay. I find myself now actually pitching Five Star Ford to other people who inquire. Given the huge difference in the buying experience between Five Star and everyone else I've dealt with, there is no reason to shop elsewhere. I wasted a lot of time before discovering Five Star Ford. --Troy McKelroy, Atty. More

I took test drives in a 2012 Buick Enclave, 2012 Cadillac SRX, 2012 Audi Q5 and the 2012 Ford Explorer Limited. Hands-down, I prefer the Ford. The Cadillac had a cramped interior and harsh ride. The Buick SRX, 2012 Audi Q5 and the 2012 Ford Explorer Limited. Hands-down, I prefer the Ford. The Cadillac had a cramped interior and harsh ride. The Buick had a lot of wind noise make it past the door seals and the passenger side door had to be really 'slammed' to close properly. The Audi is nice, but just too small. I assigned Five Star Ford a 5-Star rating because the sales process was very straight-forward. I negotiated a fair price in about 5 minutes. From start to finish, the process took about three hours. I have never previously bought a new car in under six hours. I brought my car in Monday for window tinting and they had me 'in and out' in one hour. More

Very pleasant experience in buying our new F250 2012 Super Duty Truck. Everyone was very knowledgable about the vehicles, features, pricing, and financing. Overall Experience would have been great excep Super Duty Truck. Everyone was very knowledgable about the vehicles, features, pricing, and financing. Overall Experience would have been great except the trade in value offered on our 2003 F250 was only average $4,000. After seeing the 2003 on your website for used truck listed at $10,433. I understand everyone has to make a profit, but that is a little over the top. I will recommend Five Star Ford to others but with a warning if they are trading in a vehicle. More

The buying experience was the best I have ever had at a car dealership. Rick was patient with me trying to make a decision on what I wanted. He was friendly and very helpful. The price was outstanding and car dealership. Rick was patient with me trying to make a decision on what I wanted. He was friendly and very helpful. The price was outstanding and the trade allowance was better than I anticipated. Lee did an outstanding job with the delivery. He went over the sync system in detail. He even took a ride with me to show how navigation system works. All in all this was a great experience and i would recommend Five Star Ford, Rick and Lee to anyone interested in purchasing a new car. More

An inquiry was made last Sunday night. By mid-morning Monday, I had an e-mail from Rick Dike, Sales Manager at Five Star in North Richland Hills. Rick and I communicated via text and e-mails as I was ou Monday, I had an e-mail from Rick Dike, Sales Manager at Five Star in North Richland Hills. Rick and I communicated via text and e-mails as I was out of town on a business trip. By Tuesday morning, Rick had set aside the vehicle I described, a Lariat 4X4 with the EcoBoost engine, given me the pricing and then waited for me to get back in town. This morning (Friday), my wife and I made our way to Five Star, a 70 mile trip, and the real amazement began. Rick Dike was there waiting for us and handed us off to Lee Clanton, the Guru of SYNC! Lee showed us the vehicle and demonstrated the SYNC capabilities. We were introduced to Bob Little, our Business Manager, and proceeded through the most painless paperwork session we've ever encountered! After the paperwork was done, Rick and Terry Rich were waiting for us. What an experience! Those are real people and they treated us like real people! Lee gave us an intense course on the SYNC system which, in and of itself, is amazing. He even called us on our way home, as a test, to determine if we knew how to use the system. More

Five Star Ford has taken the dread out of car shopping for me. My recent purchase of a new Expedition was my second Expedition purchase from Five Star and I can't imagine that (1) I will ever drive ANYTHI for me. My recent purchase of a new Expedition was my second Expedition purchase from Five Star and I can't imagine that (1) I will ever drive ANYTHING but a Ford and (2) that I will ever shop anywhere other than Five Star Ford. I had an appt. with Terry and Rick and both were waiting for me (if they weren't, they sure made me think they were!) and we went right to work. They presented a number of options but never pressured me. I am thrilled with the vehicle and pleased with the experience...which was relatively fast and totally painless. (I am also grateful that the dealership has a class on the SYNC system because it is way smarter than I am.) I am delighted to give the guys at Five Star Ford FIVE BIG STARS! Karen Dublin, Texas More

We liked Lee. We got a recommendation to use him as our salesman and that was very helpful. We did not like the way Ford/Fivestar handled our trade-in situation. In 2004 they sold us a flawed engine th salesman and that was very helpful. We did not like the way Ford/Fivestar handled our trade-in situation. In 2004 they sold us a flawed engine that has proven problems, which should have been corrected by recall or notice and then when we go to buy a new Ford F250 you offered us zero- literally $0, for our trade-in. That smells. You sell "value and highest resale" but that is just BS. That diesel should go 300,000 miles without the problems we had and Ford just figured it was our problem and offered us $0 at trade-in when we're buying a new one! The only reason we stayed with Ford instead of buying the Chevy/GMC 2500 or the Ram 2500 was the bed size was bigger - 6'10" (wall to gate) and we needed that. More

The buying experience I had at 5 Star Ford in NRH was great. Rick Dike was very helpful in finding the exact truck I wanted. He had my trade-in appraised and offered me a very fair price on it. From s great. Rick Dike was very helpful in finding the exact truck I wanted. He had my trade-in appraised and offered me a very fair price on it. From start to finish he did everything he possibly could do to make sure I was happy with the transaction. Rick got me in and out of the dealership quickly so I could get back to work . I will definitely be back to see Rick when I need another vehicle for my wife, sons etc. Lee Clanton was also very helpful in explaining the sync system in my new F-150. He is an expert on it and he made me comfortable with how it worked before I left the dealership. Thanks again for making my buying experience a fantastic one. More
