We were qui We visited Sam Pack's Five Star Ford in NRH with a VIP Pass from Jerry Reynolds (The Car Pro). We were looking into buying a new Explorer. We were quickly greeted then escorted upstairs to Joshua Fichter, the General Manager. Joshua thanked us for being there and spent some time speaking with us about the Car Pro VIP process and the importance they place on the buying experience. Joshua then introduced us to Lee Clanton, an experienced and tenured sales expert who would be guiding us through the process. We spent a good bit of time there but not because they were belaboring the process. Rather, we wanted to drive a few cars and talk through our choices. Lee was a terrific host and revealed every possible incentive. We were surprised, as we did not expect much on the "all-new, just introduced" 2020 Explorer Platinum Edition. While we had not planned to trade our vehicle, the incentive to do so was compelling. Lee Clanton presented an attractive offer on a beautiful white Platinum that was on their lot. Since white was the color we were after, we moved on to close the deal. As we were a cash customer, we moved on to a quick sit down in the finance office with David Hill, who further added to the pleasant experience. Afterward, Lee promised to add a couple of accessories and have the car prepped, beautiful and ready to go the next day. We left quite happy. When we arrived the next day, Lee was ready to meet us and walk us through the many (very many) technology features of the car. He took his time, made sure we understood and did a great job of making us operationally comfortable. Overall, we had an unexpectedly pleasant and comfortable experience from walk-in to drive off. Accolades to Lee Clanton for making this happen. We are now the proud owners of the all-new 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum Edition. It's gorgeous, quiet, comfortable and powerful. Exception and Recommendation: When we did the final walk-around, we found a door ding and scratch along with a slight flaw in the paint. These were pointed out to Lee and he assured us that Five Star would remedy the issues to our complete satisfaction. When a new car is ready to be delivered, it is parked in the general parking lot, in sometimes tight spaces where damage can occur. Even as Lee was demonstrating the vehicle's features, the person parked next to our new car opened their door and hit our mirror (ugh). After that we moved the vehicle to a safer place. We also found a small spot on the roof's edge where the paint appears to be peeling (that's on Ford). I would recommend that Five Star create an comfortable and cooled indoor space specifically designed for the delivery experience. This would provide the perfect "finishing touch" to the overall buying experience. Let it be said that neither of these minor issues soured the experience, as I am confident Sam Pack's Five Star will go above and beyond to make us happy. In closing, our thanks to Joshua Fichter (GM) and Lee Clanton (Sales) for delivering the absolute best car buying experience we have had in decades. If you are looking to buy a Ford, we would highly recommend Five Star Ford NRH and particularly, Lee Clanton. More

Best Car Buying Experience Ever Working with Lee was the best decision I have ever made! He walked us through every step and verified that the numbers I was getting were the same ones he was. He even communicated our needs with the finance department before we got over there to ensure a smooth transition. Tut, in the finance department, was so fun and had a really good attitude. He made a typical stressful experience into a memorable and genuinely hilarious time! We will forever be going to Five Star Ford to purchase cars! More

Sales Team - Excellent Customer Service Jason Howell was my original internet sales person. The day I decided to purchase a vehicle at 5 Star Ford, Jason was out. In Jason's absence, Mr. LEO Jason Howell was my original internet sales person. The day I decided to purchase a vehicle at 5 Star Ford, Jason was out. In Jason's absence, Mr. LEONARD "LEE" CLANTON stepped in to help me finalize my truck purchase. I've purchased more than 30 personal vehicles (varying makes, models, dealerships, etc. throughout the Metroplex) and must say that Lee Clanton provided me with the very best customer service experience I've ever had at a car dealership. What ever situation arose/occurred during my encounter with the dealership, Lee went above and beyond to ensure the situation was immediately resolved. In fact, the only reason for my 4 star rating (and not a 5), is because of the "so-so" customer service I received in the service department when I needed a quick repair. Thanks, Lee More

Very Personable My husband and I have been looking for a new vehicle for the past few month and have dealt with many dealerships, this was by far our best experience. We told Rick what we were looking for and what our budget was. He did not once try to force us into a higher priced vehicle like other dealerships do. The vehicle we were looking for had very specific requirements that are not easy to find. Rick did not try to talk us out of or into a vehicle. We drove from Houston to look at the truck, because our local dealerships wanted to sell the vehicle they wanted, not the one we needed. He had it pulled up front with everything ready to go for us when we got there. There was no pressure from anyone at the dealership to move into something we were not comfortable with. All of the staff we had interactions with were very pleasant. After we finished our paperwork Rick sent Leonard (I believe this is him, but could be wrong) to show me the different aspects of the truck we may have missed before, including voice commands, power points, accessibility, etc. I will be sending anyone looking for a vehicle to this dealership. More
