I bought two cars cash spending over $120,000 and I have had nonstop problems. They do not even care what they promised at the time they sold nor have they fixed anything that they said they would I bought I didn’t even negotiate I paid what I needed and when I expected, and I’ve gotten nothing from that from there, I’m absolutely disappointed and to this day, I would never suggest anyone to go to Toyota Carlsbad Use car lot or New never

I called Toyota Carlsbad on November 29, 2023 and spoke with a service advisor. I asked this service advisor about an alignment, I asked her what they charge and she said about $146.00 and when I asked if they could check to see if I needed an alignment on my tires she said something to the effect of, "it will cost you $146.00 to have the alignment checked." and I said, so you will not check it to see if I need the alignment, she just kept repeating the same answer. I told her Firestone said they can check to see if I need an alignment, all she could say is, "well that is a different company". Just no help and very short and rude answers to my questions. She was not helpful at all.

This dealer I will never do business with totally xx please save your time and go to an honest dealership.

The Service Center is very Shady, my mom bought a new car from their dealership and i brought it in for her for the First service, after i got it back nothing looked out of the ordinary but i noticed they switched out my moms brand new tires, i know cause i remember telling her she got a great set of continental tires that came with the car, i get the car back and there are good year tires on it, i have a feeling they do this regularly. Please have avoid this dealership and service center at all cost.

Don't bother doing business with this dealership. Placed a deposit on a new Tacoma back in July of 2022 after receiving approval of a deal for MSRP. We ended up waiting over a month for our truck to be built and stayed in touch with Elise, our sales rep the entire time in order to have an accurate ETA. After receiving confirmation the truck was on its way, we sold our old Tacoma via private party as we anxiously awaited the arrival of our new one. Long story short, over the weekend I received an out of the blue "deposit refund" text message stating that my deposit had been voided. Confused, I checked in with Elise to see why I had received a refund for my deposit and got no response. The next day I got a phone call from a man named Robert and he informed me that the truck had been delivered and sold over the holiday weekend. They did not even bother to notify us that the truck had arrived or else we would have been there to purchase it that day. In fact, the truck had sold the day after we checked in to confirm it's ETA... our gut feeling is that they sold the truck to someone above MSRP in order to maximize their profit. Totally shady business. We felt completely blindsided and now we don't even have a truck! Honesty, we get that the market is tough right now but to agree to a deal, take a customers deposit, and then sell the vehicle to someone else is just rude and unprofessional. Honestly, I'd be very cautious placing a deposit with them because they will likely sell what you order to the highest bidder. Hope this helps someone choose a better alternative.
