A bad review, reframed as a case study. I’ve driven Lexus for years — Dubai, Saudi, now the U.S. — and bought and serviced my IS350 exclusively through Sewell Lexus Dallas. An alternator failure near Plano forced me into Park Place Lexus Plano. Same brand, same (or higher) pricing. The service philosophy could not be more different. The tell isn’t any single interaction — it’s what each dealer optimizes for. Park Place runs a wall of loaner guardrails: 100-mile caps, gas-matching, 12-hour return notice — all enforced aggressively. The message lands as our policy is right, the customer is secondary. Sewell has policies too — looser ones — and I’ve never once had them enforced against me. They lead with respect. That posture showed everywhere. Condescending intake on a $2,000+ work order. My assistant service manager, Tom Gibbs, over-promised on timing. At pickup, Leonardo “Dro” Gonzalez, Assistant Service Manager, addressed me aggressively in Spanish after I said I don’t speak it. His manager first introduced himself as Bryan Black, then — when I questioned it — handed me a card reading Bryan Martin, Service Manager. And a windshield chip that measured under an inch pre-service now sits at 2.4 inches. Bottom line: identical pricing, opposite priorities. One protects its policies; the other earns its clients.
Sean was very pleasant to work with. I told him exactly what I wanted and he had it up front in about 10 minutes. The process of purchasing my new vehicle was very easy. Thanks again Sean and Park Place Lexus Plano.
Big beautiful dealership very nice customer service and a lot more selections on cars.loved it❤️
Everything was excellent! My salesman, Jolly, is a Rock Star! Look forward to getting my car service there.
It was an excellent and efficient sales experience. We were able to find the vehicle that met our needs and make the purchase with ease.
Great customer service, trained employees willing to help customers listen and understand issues as explained by the customer
