I negotiated a price ahead of time and there was a miscommunication on the dealer's side. On the XLT Maverick, they have a $10k markup and $2k in options that not worth it and cannot be removed (door guards, int/ext protectant, thief-not actual alarm, and nitro for tires). It took me 1.5 hours to get out there just to find out they didn't want to honor the 3k markup because they wanted 5k (no matter what) using the xx options as leverage. Roy and I spoke and I cannot prove either side since nothing was clearly laid out (Roy took responsibility for that). He said, she said situation. Terrible experience and a waste of time. Other dealers will work with you for much less. They say with the $12k markup (10K to 2K in options) that people are "HAPPY" to pay it for the Maverick.
