What Others Say
The worst! They told me one price and it was $250 more dollars when I got there. THEY SAID they would wash the car and did not. I myself will never bye anything from them again. Please be very careful
This is by far the worst dealership my wife and I have ever dealt with. They kept our car for a simple recall repair for over two weeks. Throughout that time, the staff was rude and lied to us multiple times. To make matters worse, they initially did not offer a rental vehicle, leaving us stranded without a second car, which my wife relies on to take our kids to school. When they finally did offer a rental, they refused to cover the full cost, forcing us to pay out of pocket.
I reached out to one of the service managers on LinkedIn for help and received no response. Attempts to speak with a service manager over the phone were just as frustrating; I was put on hold for an unreasonable amount of time while listening to terrible elevator music before being disconnected.
Calling Kia corporate was the only way we received any real help, as they stepped in to cover the rental cost. However, they also informed me that each dealership operates as an independent franchise, making it clear that Citrus Motors is an outlier in terms of poor service. This place is a disaster and should be shut down. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.
Horrible dealer with incompetent sale people. I was dealing with Jessi and I told him my situation that I was trying to get out of my current lease and into a new one and he gave me beautiful numbers over the phone. When I arrived, I test drove the car and waited almost 3 hours for them to give me numbers officially (this dealer also takes forever). The financial guy then gave me my monthly payment and wanted me to sign without knowing all the details. When I asked for details and asked to know what my trade in value be, he told me he didn't know I was trading in a lease and they don't take leases. The salesman wasted 4 hours of my time and I had to travel 45 min in traffic for nothing. They now ran my credit also for nothing. Horrible service and communication. I will never go back.
Citrus Motor Kia help me get into my new vehicle and the sales people were AWESOME.
I had such a relaxing and positive experience today ! Sandy quickly scheduled my appointment. Cesar showed me the numbers and details. Jesse help with the car and Michelle and Alex did the paperwork. Great team effort everyone! Thank you!
tl;dr: DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. The simplest maintenance possible, an oil change, will cost you weeks with your vehicle, countless headaches, and an engine teardown on a 3 month old vehicle. Anything they promise you, they will go back on.
I purchased a 2023 kia sportage plug in hybrid at this location in February, and the sales service with Cesar was fantastic.
Unfortunately I have to leave this terrible review because of the worst car service experience I have ever had. I brought my sportage in for its 5,000 mile oil change on June 3. After I went back to pick up my car, the service rep that I worked with, Bryan, told me that they had dropped a piece of plastic inside of my engine during my oil change. He said the would have to disassemble my engine to find the piece of plastic. Due to a parts back order, they would have to hold my vehicle indefinitely.
During this time, I had to borrow a non-hybrid rental car from the dealership. Due to the difference in fuel efficiency, the service manager, Benny, as well as Bryan both confirmed that I would be reimbursed for my gas while driving the rental. I asked for them to put that in writing, and they said it would all appear on the contract at the end. I called several times over the two week window that my vehicle was being serviced to check the status, and at least THREE times I confirmed that all of my gas used on the rental would be reimbursed. The manager, Benny, said that I would be reimbursed, and on top of that they would even fill my tank up with gas for me when I left. I was satisfied with this and agreed to it.
Cut to me picking up the vehicle, there is a quarter tank of gas. It's now been 3 weeks since I've had my vehicle back. I have reached out 4 times about the status of my reimbursement in that time, only to be told that the manager was emailed and he would be giving me a call. I have still never received a call from him. Not only that, but on the latest call I was told I would not be reimbursed at all, and if I drive all the way up to the dealership they can fill my tank.
Thankfully I have recordings of my conversations with the manager as well as date and time stamps for everything so that I can pursue the reimbursement I am due. I will also never be bringing my car back to this dealership for service, and I hope you don't either so no one else has to experience the absurd number of headaches an phone calls this experience required.
