I worked here as a salesman several years ago when it was Lee Hyundai and it was a prime dealership, (no longer). My girlfriend and I came in to buy a new 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy hybrid. Tracy was our salesman and we were blown away with the OTD price with our Acura for trade. Not a single sales manager tried to step in and attempt to earn our business. We left and ended up buying the exact same Calligraphy the next day, with our trade for roughly $11,000 less at New Bern Hyundai. I’ll never step foot in another Stinkin Deacon and I’ll continue to tell everyone to stay clear of this dealership.

I travel close to 3 hours from Winston-Salem, NC to have my Hyundai Kona serviced by this world-renowned Hyundai Service Center! It was a typical Saturday and the Service Center was steadily packed. I was completely aware of a few add-ons necessary to keep my beautiful car running smoothly, and Joey went above and beyond to make sure that was possible. Joey was able to keep the maintenance and a beautiful new set of tires mounted, aligned, and get this, it was affordable, within budget, and Joey kept me informed every step of the way. Professional, friendly and always exceeds my expectations! I've said it before and I'll shout it from the roof tops, Deacon Jones Hyundai of Goldboro, ROCKS!! No need to think about it, you and your vehicle are in great hands.

I bought my EV from this dealer but I live in RTP. Came here for my sons soccer game and was hoping to charge my car at the dealership. Charge point charger was blocked using cars and when requested to move the car the dealership employees were extremely rude as they didn’t want to make an effort to move the cars. They said it’s the dealership charger and they are not answerable to anyone. They could shut the charger too. 15 mins later they have the car moved. I come back for charging the general manager comes out acting like he is helping and he swipes his charge card but claims the charger is not working. When infact I tried charging using the app and it worked just fine. They enjoy drama and not helping customers.

My experience with car salesman, Glen, was wonderful. However, today I brought my new car in to be checking because it was jerking. Well, after waiting for over two hours, I asked how much longer for my car. Well folks, they took my car without my knowledge or consent on a test drive or 14 miles! I had no clue they had taken my car on the main highway for 14 miles! It was absolutely horrible, and the general manager, Aaron, was extremely patronizing and facetious when I presented him with the problem. He definitely wouldn’t be what I call a friendly general manager. I stood and waited to talk to him while several of them laughed and joked, and they didn’t even acknowledge me. I had to assert myself into their maskless conversation. And, this brings me to another point, out of ALL of the staff working today, I only noticed ONE staff member wearing a mask. How does a dealership justify taking someone’s car and driving it for 14 miles?

Great place to buy your car and a great place to have your vehicles serviced. Friendly staff and the customer area is always neat and clean.
