Absolutely do not recommend this dealership. I was lied to did not get the car
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER! David is the biggest scam artist EVER. I purchased a Jeep from him via fully online as I am a few states over. He reassured me of many things: 1. He sells to out of state all the time and it's always a smooth transaction. 2. He assured me that the vehicle was in EXCELLENT condition "practically new" he said, when it showed up had about 8+ significant scratches on the paint; 3. The Jeep showed up missing stock rock rails that come on EVER jeep ever. It's a stock part. First he said, "it's not stock, no jeep has those" you work at a jeep dealership, you know xxxx well every jeep comes with some kind of rock rail.. He then followed up with "well you didn't ask about that part specifically so that's not on me". He's claiming it shows in the crappy pictures he sent me with "bad reception" aka super pixilated crappy quality pictures.. ok. I also didn't think to ask if the car had a steering wheel in it because I didn't think I had to?? Lastly, he reassured me there were TWO keys for the vehicle and he would make sure I get both. He even got snappy with me when I asked and said "I already told you it has two keys!" then sends the car to me with... yup, you guessed it: one key. It's been weeks and he won't answer any of my calls, I've also tried contacting the other managers there and after the initial phone call they never call or text back. It's now going to cost me hundreds extra on top of the price I paid for the vehicle itself (which David wouldn't even drop the price by a dollar for me, I paid the full asking price) and now I have to pay to get the stock rock rails installed and also pay to get a spare key programmed. I'd trust a scam likely call before I ever trust this scummy dealer of dishonest, disrespectful salesmen ever again.
I dealt with David Zach’s on a truck for weeks, we created a pretty good relationship. I told him I’d be flying in from Oklahoma to pickup the truck. He said we will get someone there to pick you up even if that means he was the one coming. I book my flight and let him know. That’s when things changed, he couldn’t/wouldn’t have someone come get me because the price I was paying was less than what we had “agreed upon when he made that statement”. He also said”you don’t have that in text so it doesn’t matter, I’m not going to do that”. So I had a flight and then had to pay an Uber $115 to get to pick up a truck I was paying quite a bit of money for. Other than that it went well, but 2 stars because I was lied to.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! I have had a horrible experience with Reliance Bay City. I drove over 2 hours to purchase a vehicle from them. Things seemed great until I realized that there was coolant smell coming from the vents on the way home from the delearship, which caused me to have a headache as it is toxic. The next day I decided to pop the hood and I opened the radiator cap to find a thick, brown sludge and significant buildup. I then contacted Randy, the general manager, who also happens to be a family friend. They sent a wrecker out to pick up my vehicle and take a look at it. I have communicated with manager, Randy Pratt, on multiple occasions that I wish to cancel the sale as the problems this truck has had already can lead to motor issues due to sludge traveling through the coolant system of the engine. Not to mention this vehicle was 2 years old and had 20,000 miles on it and I was told by Randy it had been fully serviced. Randy has ignored me, dodged my questions, and treated me with horrible customer service (Not sure how he’s a GM). They “replaced” the heater core and the cabin air filter, both of which are unrelated to the sludge which Randy claimed is “normal”. On Friday, my vehicle was left at the gate of my girlfriends property, with the keys in the gas tank, still with a coolant smell coming out of the vents. The dealership has tried to avoid confrontation to the point of leaving the vehicle and then calling that it was parked at the gate. They did this without calling first and just left it at an entrance on the side of a major highway without checking to make sure someone was going be around. Do not recommend this place at all!!! Legal action is being pursued! STAY AWAY!!
David was great to work with. Would definitely recommend doing business with them. I traveled 7 hrs one way to get my truck and it was worth every minute.
The salesman has just left me hanging. I keep having to text every couple days to see what up with my application.
