WOW!!!!!!!! What crummy customer service!!!!!!!!!!! My wife and I just came in to ask for a test drive of an outback. We were completely honest about our reasons (that we were moving to the mainland and were going to purchase a vehicle there, but wanted my wife to be comfortable with the feel of the car). The old geezer sales manager wouldn't answer our questions and condescendingly told us "his people" worked on commission and if we were not buying, we were just wasting their time. We told him we understood that (we had actually brought a Starbucks gift card to give to the guy to thank hi for his time, as we knew he wasn't "making anything" on us), and were willing to wait until they were not busy with a potential sale. He told us that we were still wasting their time and out to be more considerate and leave. Great job!!!!! It is a good thing you have a monopoly or you'd be out of business. Melan Evangelista answered my phone call and eventually got another satisfied customer! He's very knowledgeable and patient in answering questions. Other dealerships want you to buy their car the same day...if they only knew that there are customers out there that want to take their time before deciding on one that they really want after a test drive of several makes and models first.
