What Others Say

Was approached unsolicited by a “Misty”. She gave me the run around and despite transparent communication she kept attempting to low ball and waste time. Not sure if this is scam or fly by night but bottom line avoid these types of dealers.

The team at Honey Car made the process easy. From start to finish there was no pressure and they answered all of our questions. Would definitely use this group again.

Lori contacted me and made a great deal when I was ready to sell my mothers car after her death. Process was very easy as selected a time and date to meet and signed a few papers and got a check on the spot.

Don’t do it. This is the classic bait and switch type place where they guarantee you something over the phone and when you get there “ it's all different, and like omg that’s totally our call centers fault, no we won't honor what they say.” so here Is the story. I read some good reviews, got an estimate, spoke with multiple people scheduled an 11am meeting to drop off my car in Richmond. It’s a two-hour drive for me so I validated that carlotz could drop me off at the train station after I dropped my car off with them. They stated they would list the car for ~20k, when I got there they suggested 16500 as a sales price, I said sure, whatever, but I still want to list it for what you said we would, then we can accept or decline offers as they come in. The woman, sitting at the far left desk against the wall, said it wouldn’t sell for 16… ( note I already received offers via eBay for 16k+ and was hoping the service provided by carlotz ( professional photos, professional cleaning, scheduling, adding to multiple sites, etc. would be worth the 1k fee they are charging) after some back and forth where I merely asked are they going to do what they said they will or not, they merely said not. So, if you want to be like me and waste 5+ hours of your time, the cost of a train ticket, and be put at the whim of some slothful people. Go ahead and car lotz, otherwise. I would recommend you try anything else. I feel bad for the guy coming in after me with a Porsche, he was about to be taken advantage of.
