I contacted the dealership, made an appointment with a woman sales agent, and when I arrived a young man introduced himself and said she was busy. I explained what I liked about my car, but my car is over 100,000 so I was looking at moving to a more spacious vehicle. His response was, if you like how your car drives, why are you looking at new vehicles? He showed me the HR-V that I was inquiring about and drove me to see some used vehicles but didn't really explain much nor seemed that interested in helping me. I just felt like I was dismissed as not an actual buyer (I am female in my 40s, so maybe there is some assumption)? Then, I found a CR-V on their website I was interested in, submitted the online request showing interest, and no one has contacted me. Just not helpful!
Ordered a new 2023 car from Honda Automaster in 2022, only to wait for delays after delays. I was told I was the first one to get that custom car in a specific color. I found out that Automaster was not attentive of their priority list and sold the car I wanted to another customer due to an error on their part. An honest mistake they said. Yet as a customer waiting for a car for 6-7 months, this is not an acceptable practice. Worst part was during March 2023, I told them I was going on vacation (1 month vacation) soon, expecting my car to arrive any day now, yet still no car, and was worried about the car coming in. I hoped that they can help me with their error by holding onto the car. Automaster Honda said if we were gone for one month and the car came in, that they would sell it to another person. Terrible… who says that to a customer who puts a deposit, sells a car that came in that fits my specifications, and tells them sorry too bad. “If you leave and the car comes we will sell it. We cannot hold a car for that long.” Worst Honda Dealers and Sellers. Do not do business with them. Called another dealer and they instantly found my Honda and helped. I hope their service and parts center is better than their Sales Department.
This is the 3rd bad experience I've had at automaster. The car I just bought has been having troubles with the battery dying so I went to another retailer to replace it. When I pulled the battery I noticed that it said it had a warranty so I decided to call automaster and see if they would replace it. I explained to the person who picked up the phone that I bought the car 3 weeks ago from another dealership 3 hours away as they had what I wanted in stock and that the battery had a date sticker from 8/19, so well within the warranty range. I asked if I could bring the car in and have them test the battery and replace if necessary and she said yes and knew I was about 20 minutes out. Once I got there the rep inside told me that it would not be covered under warranty as I was not the original owner of the car. Already annoyed I asked if it could be tested like the girl said and they informed me that actually nobody could look at it, so I basically took a 40 minute round trip for nothing. They then had the nerve to ask if I wanted to buy a battery from them....do yourself a favor, travel to another dealership if you want a Honda. These guys treat you like a number...
