Ins Claim Repair: 0 Stars for taking 32 days to repair (?)my rear window breakage from thieves trying to steal my car, twice in as many months! It was like adding insult to injury! Especially due to the glass repair people damaged the paint on roof above window & around it due to just ripping it off without any attempt to mitigate the damage! They did an ok job on steering wheel column but could have repaired 16 in the time they kept it! I called leaving word for David Gates, Svc Mgr twice, when I knew he was there, knowing it was I was calling,as the person who answered phone asked "is this Ms Mixon?" I answered "YES" & he was gone from the phone just long enough to tell svc Mgr that I was holding for him! I asked to leave a msg on his voice mail, telling him about my paint being damaged & needed someone to help with the $1000 Cost of re/painting it! 0 - Svc Mgr is a coward! Will not speak to me abt damage to my paint on my car, also dirty hands messed up headliner with grease & back seat upholstery, in addition to the door handle so dirty with grease & grime I could not wash it off, kept it for 32 days, which should have only taken 2 days at most This is the 2nd time this has happened as it was abt 28 days the 1st time-At least other dealerships were honest, telling me the date they could get to it-FOOL ME ONCE-SHAME ON YOU; FOOL ME TWICE-SHAME OM ME! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
Stay away from this dealership and service department! My wife and I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy AWD CPO in December 2023. Immediately after taking it home, we noticed a humming sound from the engine area. I took it into Brookshire Hyundai on 3 separate occasions where the service individual assigned and the repair tech were able to replicate the noise and hear it when I was in the car. Despite all of this, I was told the noise was normal and within normal vehicle operations. On one of the occasions, my tires and wheels were rotated and balanced. I was told specifically that if I continued to hear the noise, to replace my tires. I continued to hear the noise with no indication of a fix, and I replaced my tires at Discount Tire. At the 3rd and final appointment, after spending hundreds of dollars on Lyft and rental vehicles for the dealer to assess the vehicle over a number of days (no loaners offered), I was told nothing is wrong with it and to get a second opinion. I then went to Texan Hyundai in Rosenberg, and within a short period of time, they diagnosed the issue as a problem with the transfer case and further stated the rear struts and absorbers also needed to be replaced. All of this was accomplished within a few days. I am supremely disappointed that the service department missed these obvious problems and despite 3 multi-point inspections in the span of a few weeks, did not observe that the struts and observers needed to be replaced. A complaint has been filed with Hyundai USA, and they will be replacing the lost money from the Lyft and rental fees, however; I am still out approximately $1100 from new tires that I certainly did not need and that I purchased based on faulty advice from their service department. This has been a nightmare to deal with, and the request for a tire refund was promptly denied, even though it was THEIR recommendation.
Thank you Brookshire Hyundai for helping us get the car we wanted by offering us a FANTASTIC deal. Thank you Caleb Morris who helped us get the car and even though the car was not available until the next day, we were still satisfied. The car was not available the next day so Caleb went ahead to the dealership in Louisiana to personally pick up the car because he wanted to keep his word. I call that DEDICATION! I would recommend purchasing a car from Brookshire Hyundai because they are a small but a dedicated dealership for the customer needs. The finance manager, Todd was very quick and to the point and it was a pleasant experience to purchase a car. We even received a maintenance package that covers the car for 6 years which we did not expect because all we wanted was GAP. The maintenance package was a must to get and I am very HAPPY with our purchase. This is the place to get a car!
I wish i had read their earlier one star Google reviews especially from Lamar, Cameron and Grace! Shame on #Brookshirehyundai Be ware guys of the unpleasant and unprofessional surprises from this dealership. I was given an offer (signed by Sergio Martinez) for a new Tucson in writing which i accepted over a recorded line. While i was preparing to reach there on the agreed time i was informed that the vehicle has been sold to another customer! I've lodged the complaint with #Hyundai USA. Will share it once i hear back from them. Update: in our phone call the owner insisted that what their sales team have done is their usual way of doing business and it doesn't warrant an apology. Whoever gets to them with money first gets the car no matter if they had already committed (through a written and signed offer) to sell that car to someone else with an agreed time for the customer to show up at the dealership on the same day. In a civilized world wouldn't you ask the next customer to wait until the expiry of an earlier valid commitment!
