What Others Say

Have had no issues getting service done at a reasonable time. Glad they are open on Saturday because I work everyday.

The one star is only because I can't give a lower rating. They had a car listed on their site for $16,400 Cash. You absolutely can not pay that in cash. When you try to, they say it's the Financing Price. The salesperson tells you that you can pay off the charge after 3 months because the company they finance with (Ally) pays them (Encore) for it and they don't want to lose money. Then the finance guy tells you that it's not after 3 months, it's after 4. If you pay it off before then, then you get penalized. If that were all, I dunno, maybe I wouldn't be as angry. However, (I learned this after calling in and talking to their finance guy about this outrageous price I'm now being told I owe) EVERY car they have, has a mandatory $3,000 charge for some crap package, and they don't have to legally post it on the price. He swears they told me about it. He said that's why they had the lowest price in 500 miles (his words, not mine), because that $3,000 isn't shown in the price. Then there's all of the additional fees. Between all the fees and other hidden costs, the $16,400-listed car, somehow now comes out to $25,000+. They will not actually tell you the total cost though, the salesperson has already told you that it's the $16,400 + fees, so when they put $25,000+ on your paperwork, you should have seen it. Everything is conveniently, silently slipped into the paperwork. The finance guy says he gets calls every week from people like me. I'm assuming he means people who realized they were screwed because what they're being charged is nowhere near what they were told/advertised it would cost. If I knew the $16,400 car I was buying costed $25,000+, then I wouldn't have bought it, or in this case, financed it. I only see it now in the ratings after going back to read them. They'll ask you 3 times to give them a 5-star review while you're sitting there in the dealership. And before realizing they screwed me, I didn't have a problem with them.

I haven’t had a bad experience there. Brandy did an excellent job getting our truck taken care of. and back to us quicker thank expected. Encore will continue to have our business.
