What Others Say

Where do I start. The service rep is a liar telling me that they couldn’t fix my DEF system. In his words “don’t call us, we’ll call you when parts are available”. i waited 2 months while my crippled truck limped around town. I fiinally found a mechanic on Chapman who found the parts and fixed my truck for less than Selman quoted me. The truth is that the DEF parts were covered under a GMC recall and Selman doesn’t make any money on those. The kicker is that my mechanic found the DEF part at Selman’s parts department!! Haven’t been to Selman since. I have purchased 2 vehicles from them but never again!

Even though I ended up buying a car from a dealership that was closer to San Diego, I was impressed by the quality of customer service I was given. They were understanding when I called to cancel my appointment and even congratulated me on my new purchase.

Good sales, nice place. I’m glad to buy my new car at here. Had a good experience.

Had an appointment on 4-6-22 @11:30 for an oil change. They knew I was waiting for vehicle. At 2:00 I asked what’s up. They went to check and found nothing had been started. Service spec said his manager was aware of problem however he didn’t care either as nobody spoke with me. I have been very loyal bringing my needs needs here, driving 30 minutes, but never again. I told them bring the car I’m leaving.

Just because of the service center I'd stay away. My wife's 2016 camaro ss has been in there several times. This last time was for an electrical issue the tach boun ung and instead of taking care of the issue after paying the deductible and didn't fix it they say they don't have any loner cars available and that was several Months ago. Now my daughters car has a recall and they tell her the same story. Talk about the run around..why even buy an extended warranty if they are going rodrag out the repair so it expires. We have bought a 2018 2500hd , 2016 Camaro SS, 2018 Equinox and a 2015 Sonic..the first 2 vehicles are not inexpensive vehicles and after the whole family coming here for years you would think you could atleast get things fixed under a warranty you paid for.

Even though cosmetics are usually not covered under a limited warranty, being that the car was bought only a 1 1/2 wks ago Joe Puerto(service manager) ok’d covering it(dashboard leather separated) Joe Perez(service advisor was instrumental advising the service manager on my behalf. Then Bill Brown tied the whole thing together by calling the upholstery shop, giving them my car and set me up with a loaner
