What Others Say

Rodney was extremely helpful in getting us to find and then into our new family car

I'd go elsewhere as they are very rude and not helpful in resolving issues. I shouldn't have to escalate to get basic service, not sure what they're doing there, but I will never buy or use them again.

Syed is rude and disrespectful. Doesn’t deserve to have the position he is in at this dealership. He’s a mockery of the company and probably has lost more than my business there. This probably isn’t the first you have heard this. But I’m sure more will turn out. I will seek my Volvo services else where.

On 12/5/2023 I purchased a new 2023 Volvo XC60 Recharge from Volvo Cars Westport, CT. I live in Florida and the sales process went smoothly. There were some bumps during the delivery process on 12/5/2023 including the vehicle not being charged and a charge on the Lease Agreement that no one has been able to resolve to this day. In addition, the following issues have been brought forward to General Manager Mike Dillon and Finance Manny Costas numerous times without resolution. This is getting ridiculous and I am extremely unhappy with my purchase. * License Plates for my car…..the Temporary Tag for my new car expired on 1/4/2024. I still do not have plates to put on the car and as a result I have not been able to drive the car for the last 2 days. I have addressed this with both Mike and Manny several times with resolution.   * The Lease Agreement I received at point of sale indicated that my first lease payment was due on 1/5/2024. Mike and Manny were both advised that I had not received any communication from Volvo Financial regarding the financing. On 1/4/2024 I personally called Volvo Financial and was advised that they have no record of an account for me or my Volvo. They recommended that I reach back out to the dealership which I did again with no resolution. How do you make a payment that is due when there is no record of any financial agreement with Volvo Financial? I will be contacting the CFPB should there be any issue with my credit report. * Upon returning home to FL, I reviewed my Lease Agreement and identified a charge of $675 for Smartshield Enviro Protection. At point of sale I never received any paperwork or agreement nor was this product discussed by Manny in Finance. I have tried to get this resolved numerous time with nothing being resolved. I have been purchasing cars for 45 years and this is by far one of the worst experiences I have had. Additionally, this is the second new Volvo I have purchased in the last year. The first was a 2023 XC60 Mild Hybrid purchased here in FL and the entire process was smooth and professional. This purchase has been nothing but negative from finance to delivery to post delivery.

I am not one who will usually write a review and not usually about a car dealer. I just bought a used XC40 from Volvo of Westport and it was one of the best experiences I have had with a car dealer. From my sales person Jason Sandel who was so helpful no pressure explained all about the car to me and Mike Messina in finance went over all financing with me. I am extremely happy with my purchase and Jason has been very helpful in responding to me emails and questions. I would highly recommend Volvo of Westport for your next luxury car purchase. Fred

This dealerships repair prices are outrageous. We recently had our Volvo x90 starter replaced and the total cost was $2k. We didn't have a choice because the car was towed there,.but this is double than what it should normally cost. They also wanted us to replace the battery at $1,100. The battery is $200 brand new. Prior to that we paid nearly $4k for new brakes and 2 rotors they insisted were bad. I'd avoid taking your car here. Dealerships make their money off of servicing, hence those "free oil changes", but this place is robbing their clients.
