Jayson Crosby texted me about ‘deals they had at Acton Subaru’. I went to drive (and bought) a 2026 Crosstrek Subaru. I love subarus, I have bought several. But I haven’t had a new car for 40 years. 40 years ago, I bought a new hatchback subaru-when I got my ‘big’ social worker job in Boston (1985). I have bought old subarus since. They drove well, when I bought them with 70,000 miles and drove them until that mileage doubled. Social workers don’t make much money. They drive to see clients all over the state, working long hours-for low pay. So at 66, I traded my 2020 with the high loan, in for a new Subaru, I still have a loan, but I don’t mind. Subarus are reliable, and I need a reliable car. I have 10 more years of commuting, working with the poor, and often ‘unhoused’ young adults in our MA cities. From start to finish my experience was terrific. I was not familiar with what Subaru had to offer and Lincoln was patient and knowledgeable. He suggested a few models that might fit my needs and narrowed it down to the model and trim that suited those needs.
I dropped off my Subaru Outback to have the oil changed and tires rotated through the Express Service option offered at the dealership. I dropped off my vehicle just after 9am and indicated that to the service representative that I'll come back for the vehicle. He indicated that I would be updated on the vehicle service, which did not occur. After 4 1/2 hours, I contacted the Service Department and was told the vehicle was in queue. I showed up at the dealership at 3pm and was told that it was still waiting to be serviced. The service was finally completed just before 4pm. My suggestion to the Service Department is to provide updates when possible. Waiting 6+ hours for an express service to be completed is not acceptable.
I just had my 24k service done at McGovern Subaru of Acton and had a great experience. Michael was very friendly and professional, and the service was quick and smooth. They even replaced my windshield wiper blades for free, which was a nice surprise. Overall excellent service. Definitely a 5-star experience and one of the best places to go for car service. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My wife and I purchased a car. Sabrina was our representative and she was very knowledgeable, very nice, and it was a great experience having Sabrina sell us the car. She is a very very good sales rep for your company. I would recommend her to anybody looking for a Subaru because she is the best!!
