Standard Fuel Tank Missing from New Ram 4500 — Dealer Won't Make It Right** I purchased a new Ram 4500 from this dealership and later discovered the truck was missing a major piece of standard equipment: the factory 52-gallon rear-mounted fuel tank. The only fuel tank on the vehicle is a 22-gallon midship tank — which Ram offers as an optional supplemental add-on, not as a standalone replacement. According to Ram's own specifications and the Stellantis buyer's guide, every Ram 4500 Chassis Cab includes a 52-gallon rear fuel tank as standard. The 22-gallon midship tank exists to be paired alongside it for a combined 74-gallon capacity. No factory configuration exists where the Ram 4500 is equipped with only a 22-gallon tank. I raised the issue with the dealership owner, who claimed the 22-gallon midship tank was installed "instead of" the standard 52-gallon tank — as if swapping out 52 gallons for 22 gallons is somehow an upgrade or an equivalent arrangement. That claim directly contradicts what the manufacturer publishes. A truck that should have 52 gallons of fuel capacity was delivered with less than half of that, which fundamentally impacts the vehicle's range and usability as a commercial chassis. The dealership has shown no willingness to correct the issue. I have verified the truck's intended factory configuration using Ram's VIN-based build sheet and original window sticker, and I am escalating the matter to Stellantis corporate, the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs, and NHTSA. For anyone shopping here: pull the factory build sheet and window sticker for any vehicle you're considering using the VIN before you finalize anything. Confirm that every piece of listed standard equipment is physically present on the truck. Learn from my experience.

Great sales experience. Worked with David Bryant and he was great during the sales experience. Would highly recommend.

We visited Lake Keowee Chrysler Dodge Jeep, LLC yesterday, Aug. 28th 2025. We were greeted with a smiling face of a sales person (Candle) she was very in tuned to the business she answered everything we asked of her, we got all the information did a test drive , after which we purchased the car and I loved the way she treated us. Thank you, Candle, I love my car.

the service center is absolutely terrible!! i took my car up there to get my ac repaired, they claimed it was just clogged and charged around $500 for that. when i came to pick up the car, they said the car was dead and they had to jump it off. i knew i needed a battery so i requested them to put in a new one and they did (totaling $948) i drove the car for 2 days and the car wouldn’t crank up, which is an issue i never had before. i called the dealership and told them and they said to take it back up there and they would “take care of it” (it wasn’t driveable so i had to get a tow on my own dime) it took days to get an update in which they said it was my starter, they replaced the starter and claimed there was another part called the TIPM that also went bad. at that point i didn’t care i just wanted a working car, it had been about 2 weeks with no car at this point. i got charged $1077 for the starter and TIPM on top of what i originally paid for my AC and battery. after they replaced the TIPM and starter, the car only drove for another 2 days! i called again and asked them for a refund because obviously those parts were not needed and did not solve the issue! they told me a manager would call back and reach out to me, i waited a week with no call, no update on the car, nothing. i called after the week was over and they said “ we’ve been taking care of you so we’ll continue to” as if me paying $2000 and having no working car is “taking care” of someone. they towed the car to the dealership this time, weeks have gone by and i still have not heard any other updates on the car. i called once again asking for a refund and they said they’d call back, they never did. i went in person to clean out my car, i asked for a refund again to which Gary said i have to speak with Joe. Conveniently Joe wasn’t there that day. i called back 2 days later and still no Joe, still no refund. having no car has cost me majorly. im over this entire situation and i had to get a NEW CAR (not from this dealership obviously they cannot be trusted with vehicles) as i was spending $100+ a week on ubers to get to and from work, the store, etc. not to mention i had to pay the car they were “working” on off. all in all an AC repair costs me nearly $6000, a month without a car, and a general sense of anger. all i’m asking for is a REFUND for the car YALL messed up. i would NEVER recommend this dealership for sales OR service. absolutely terrible and inconsiderate of their customers time and money.

I had the best buying experience of any dealership. Couldn’t ask for a better salesman to work with than Kevin. Respectful, honest and an all around great guy. Wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else. Dealership definitely tries their hardest to get you in the vehicle you want. Really appreciated the effort. Thank you Kevin!

Absolutely the Worst Dealership Experience I’ve Ever Had I have never dealt with a dealership as unprofessional and disorganized as this one. I had been texting all week with a rep named Summer about a 2024 Jeep Willys. She quoted me a price of $49,298, and I was upfront that I was just exploring options since my lease on a 2021 Jeep Gladiator was ending. Summer scheduled us to meet with a salesperson named Ken after lunch on Saturday, June 28, 2025, and told us to go to the Dodge dealership. My husband and I drove 45 minutes to get there — only to walk into an empty showroom where no one seemed to know anything. As we were about to leave, a salesman ran in and asked what we needed. After telling him we were there to meet Ken, he called Ken — who then told us to drive over to the Ford dealership instead. First red flag: Why are we chasing down a salesperson to buy a Jeep? We arrive at the Ford dealership, and Ken has absolutely no idea what Jeep we’re talking about. I had to show him screenshots of my texts with Summer and the listing from their own website. Then Ken leaves to go back to the Dodge dealership to bring the Jeep over (you read that right). When we finally go to test drive it — there’s no gas in the vehicle. We could barely drive it around the block. Back at the lot, Ken suggests we test drive another nearly identical Jeep. Guess what? That one also had no gas — not even enough to start it — and on both Jeeps, the automatic door steps didn’t work. Ken tells us the owner of the dealership over-ordered 2024 Jeep Willys models, so they’re trying to move them with "rebates." I repeatedly asked what the actual price was, since Summer quoted me $49,298. Ken dodged the question every time. He insisted we go back over to the Dodge dealership — again — just to get pricing info. I had to log in to the Chrysler site myself just to give him my payoff amount because he couldn’t find it. Then it got worse: Ken brings over a form with four blank boxes and asked me to sign a paper agreeing to buy the Jeep — with no pricing filled in! I refused, of course, and said I wouldn’t sign anything without knowing (1) the price of each Jeep and (2) the value of my trade-in. After nearly an hour, he finally brings over a sheet saying my trade was valued at $33,500 and the Jeep was $75,000. Let me repeat that: the same Jeep I was told was $49,298 is now apparently $75,000 — which makes me think they just tacked my trade-in onto the original price. Total bait-and-switch. Absolutely unacceptable. Good luck selling these overpriced Jeeps. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere — and I suggest others do the same.
