What Others Say

You bought it you got it is the Bob Spady motto even if it's brand new! It's well worth the drive to go ANYWHERE else, all you will get here is the runaround, it's someone else's fault or it's not our problem. NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE! BUYERS BEWARE! They will stick it to you with a sneer on their faces. NEVER AGAIN!

The sign at Bob Spady, says, we'll sell your car for $125.00 and it says "We want your business, we will do what it takes." I learned first hand today that both statements are false! I don't have a problem with being told their are additional fees. But I have a great problem with the way my wife and I were treated today. We went into the showroom. Spent about an hour total there. Told the sales person up front that we were there to check on putting the van up on consignment. Listened to his presentation, etc. After everything was said and done, the salesman went to the manager. Returned and the salesman's words were… "I talked with my manager, he said that we are not doing any consignments today, we are too busy." Yes… "We are too busy!" was his reply. Yes… the manager said, "We are too busy!" To make sure everyone understands… I was told, "We are too busy!" In case some one doesn't understand the response I was told, the response was, "WE ARE TOO BUSY!" Too busy… To busy for what? Too busy, to do what it takes to get my business. Too busy, not too busy for the customer to spend an hour in the showroom; but too busy to give you the service you are asking for. Too busy, to do something that we have advertised as a service that we want to do for the customer? Well… I have decided that I am going to be very busy the next few months. My busy-ness is going to be letting everyone I can to know about this event. Sixty minutes of my time was wasted because Bob Spady was too busy. So my goal is based upon 60 minutes times 60 seconds equals 3,600 seconds. My goal is to tell 3,600 people of this event where Bob Spady is too busy to "Do what it takes to get our business."

The salesman (Patrick) led us to believe that we signed a great deal on a car that was approved by the sales manager, but when we arranged to get the vehicle, the salesman informed us that we signed a deal that was $2,000 dollars more than we offered because of a bait-and-switch he pulled with the terminology. We talked to the manager (Russell) the next day and he refused to honor the deal we originally offered, calling it a "misunderstanding" that he shouldn't be responsible for. They tried to screw us over, but we fortunately caught the scam and walked before being had. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM BOB SPADY IN NORTH PLATTE NE!!!
