Very responsive when they want you to buy a car. Found damage on my new truck and reported to my salesperson Immediately. Was told he will talk to his manager and get it squared away. That was September. We are now in the middle of March. I’ve contacted Jonathan at least 4 times a month for the past 7 months and get told “waiting on my manager.” 7 months of waiting on an answer and counting. I emailed the general manager a few times with no response, but I get all of his automatic advertisement emails.
Do not go here if you wish to have an ACTUAL mechanic work on your vehicle with basic knowledge or if you want the vehicle to run better than when you dropped it off. Im not an auto mechanic but do work in a different trade and probably have more auto diagnostic skills than them. Jumping from a sensor without telling me why they thought it was bad, did not check if the oil pressure matched what the oil pressure sensor read with a separate gauge to then say if it's not the sensor it's the whole engine that needs to be replaced while skipping literally everything else that could cause the issue. Then after replacing the valve cover gaskets which had recently be done before hand they caused an issue with the idling and said changing the valve cover gaskets wouldn't cause that issue as if they didn't have to take off the vacuum hose or anything on the valve cover to get to the gaskets. Then to fix the issue they caused it was over $200 for them to relearn the engine to solve the issue like it's not a couple buttons on their computer. With the nonsense they were spouting I just had them put everything back together and I took it to an actual mechanic. If you like your car or truck running worse take it to them, otherwise you have Seth's Autocare in parsonsburg or where I took mine at Peninsula Total car care where they actually use their brains and hands to figure out an issue not just a scan tool. I'd give it 0 stars I could because for close to $900 my truck better work instead they wanted to add about $2k to that bill for junk troubleshooting. If I didn't have any knowledge at all they would have taken advantage of that, they are not mechanics they are certified parts changers and they aren't even changing the right parts.
PLEASE AVOID USING THIS FORD DEALER FOR ANY DIAGNOSTIC WORK! My 2023 F350 Platinum Diesel wasn't turning over and a friend suspected the HP fuel pump, knowing that the CP4 pumps fail quite often on these trucks...I got the engine to turn over, drove straight to the dealer for evaluation. It took them 24 hours to come back with a cause -they said my fuel was contaminated and that they needed to replace the entire fuel system (pumps, injectors, etc.) to the tune of $15,000! Smelling a rat, I had it towed to my hometown diesel mechanic who within 30 minutes found NO sign of fuel contamination and that the fuel rail pressure regulator went bad. The regulator part was only $285! I decided to upgrade my engine with a conversion kit (replacing the CP4 pump) and drove out of the shop next day for under $4000! NEVER take your truck to Pittsville! They should be ashamed of themselves!!!
They are focused on getting five star ratings. I service techs are 5+ stars. The repeated badgering text messages for service not yet required is out of hand
I purchased a ford bronco raptor and the end of February and have still yet to receive my registration. I have had to constantly follow up with individuals at the dealership including but not limited to the GM. While the sales process was smooth the after sales process has been a huge let down and extremely frustrating. Buyer Beware
Worked with Kyle on purchasing a new F150. I really appreciate his quick response to text messages and his transparent, up-front pricing. Drove about 4 hours to reach him, and passed many Ford dealerships along the way, none of which would match the deal being offered by Pittsville. Pickup went smoothly, I was in and out fast and the deal was exactly as Kyle promised. Recommended!
