What Others Say
We went in to the dealer to look at a truck that I seen online. Salesman was good but then we went to get financed and the problems started. The salesman was told to only pull and send credit to 2 different banks. I was told that was not a problem. Then as me and my wife sat there we noticed do to credit monitoring that our credit in shear minutes had been sent and pulled over 6 times. I approached the finance desk and told them to stop. We expressed our concerns with the finance guy Jeff and the salesman and told them to stop we were done and not going to proceed with purchase and we left. The next morning we were contacted by the salesman that stated that he spoke with finance manager and he asked "give us another chance the the finance guy Jeff submitted it wrong." He should not be working if he don't know how to submit properly. They told me again they could get the terms that I needed. I told them no. I then started to get credit monitoring notification that beaman was checking credit again even after they were told to stop. Not a good practice! Don't use beaman if you care about credit. Very displeased
Terrible dealership, avoid at all costs. I have been waiting for 2 months for a shock absorber for my truck that should be covered under warranty. I filled out the review they sent me and the manager responded asking me for my contact information. I sent it and he never made any attempt to call me, been 3 weeks now. Looks like it is bad from the top down. I will never go back there I will make the drive to Columbia its a much better dealership. I bought my truck from Columbia because of how bad Beaman was. I thought maybe they could handle a shock absorber I guess I was wrong.
I had my car towed to Beaman on April 24, 2024 because it was running hot. Beaman didn't get the car repaired until May 14, 2024. First they told told me they were waiting on authorization from the warranty company. So, I called the warranty company only to find out the request was submitted on May 7, 2024. After the request was approved, they said we are short staffed, our technicians didn't report to work. We promise to have the car ready by Tuesday May 7th, only for that date to come and go. Then I was told we're going to have our best technician repair the car, that way we'll know it's fixed correctly because I know you're driving it back to Indiana. The car was finally ready on May 14th, so it was picked up the next day May 15th. I arrived in Tennessee on Saturday May 18th to drive the car back to Indiana. Sunday morning, May 19th, I heading home only for the car to make it 145 miles before it ran hot. I was stuck on the highway, hot and sweating waiting on roadside assistance. All I can say is that I'm very upset and disappointed in the service provided at Beaman. I would have given a 0 rating if I could.
Bought a used car from. 2 days later. Check engine light came on. And now they won’t do anything about it. I bought the extra warranty to go with it. They said there was nothing they could do.
Bought a 2024 Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve with all the bells and whistles back in late November 2023. Super excited as this is the most expensive and luxurious vehicle I’ve ever owned. Picked up and immediately noticed a warning light on the dashboard requiring service for the Drive Assistance with 6 alerts, Hands-Free Highway Assist, Active Lane Management, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Breaking, Traffic Sign Recognition and Drowsy Driver Detection all requiring service. At the time my Grand Cherokee had 24 miles on the odometer. Took it back the next day and the nightmare begun. They could not find a fix all though they are well aware of some of their vehicles having the problem. Talked to the sales manager and he told me to drive it about 500 miles, usually they fix themselves. I did and did research, called different sources and found out this is a problem Chrysler is trying to find a fix. Took the vehicle in to the dealership at over 1500 on the odometer and they reset the module. Next day same problem. Took the vehicle back for the same problem and they replaced the module. Two days later same problem. Jeep now has 4900 miles on it now and same problem but service department insists there is no issue and can’t replicate the problem. Today 13 May I picked up my Jeep hoping issues are fixed after an oil change and tire rotation that was not requested and more than 20 days without a vehicle with no rental or loaner. I understand some computer or mechanical issues are hard to fix but the treatment I received today from the service department representative was disrespectful and honestly frustrating. So much so that I will never buy or recommend Beaman Dodge Chrysler in Murfreesboro to anyone. The unprofessional attitude, customer service unawareness and disrespect is rarely encountered in a business this size. I am now hoping that by luck this issue somehow fixes itself as I spent over 70k on a dream retirement vehicle that has become a nightmare. Update 1530hrs on 13 May 2024 same issue when starting vehicle, so frustrating. Shut off, waited two minutes and restarted working fine again. Thanks Beaman I’m stuck with a lemon.
Does not offer OEM repair/warranty Silver Rock services.
Technicians claim that installing an exhaust is "too modified" to test out the MAP sensor in the intake.
I spent over 4 hours in their shop, with an appointment, and the only thing they said is "I'll ask someone who knows something more about this and get back to you" (06 APR 2024) ... just needed my MAP sensor looked at.
i get automated texts thanking me for choosing them, and asking for me to sign up to their VIP program, but i'm still wondering when they'll get back to me about diagnosing the problem with my car.
Thank goodness they didn't make me pay for wasting my entire morning.
I chose this shop because they came recommended as a certified SilverRock repair facility.
The staff was polite
