On June 14, 2025, I traded in my vehicle and purchased a new one through Ourisman Volkswagen / Subaru of Waldorf. The salesperson who handled my transaction was Erick Rushing. As part of the agreement, the dealership was responsible for paying off the remaining balance on my trade-in vehicle. Following the purchase, I made several attempts to confirm that the payoff had been sent to the lienholder. I was repeatedly given vague or inconsistent answers. I later discovered that Erick Rushing was no longer employed at the dealership and that my paperwork had never been submitted. It sat unprocessed for approximately 30 days, and as a result, the payoff check was not sent until July 9, 2025. This delay caused the lienholder to report missed or late payments to the credit bureaus, which has significantly damaged my credit. I fulfilled all of my responsibilities and acted in good faith during the transaction, yet the dealership’s negligence has had lasting negative financial consequences for me. I am requesting that this matter be formally acknowledged and that the dealership assist in correcting any inaccurate or harmful credit reporting resulting from this delay.

Extremely Disappointed – A Frustrating and Stressful Experience We purchased a brand-new 2024 Subaru Impreza RS from Ourisman Subaru Waldorf in March, expecting reliability and professionalism. Unfortunately, within weeks, the vehicle required a full transmission replacement. Living two hours away, we were told a rental would be provided during service—but that promise was not honored. After multiple trips and limited updates, we only discovered the seriousness of the issue after repeatedly following up ourselves. What was especially upsetting was a call we received from a dealership representative, stating that if we didn’t return the rental car by the end of the business day, serious consequences would follow. This came despite our previous, clear communication about our work commitments and distance from the dealership—and with no urgent notice prior. This entire process has been incredibly stressful and disappointing. We paid for a new car, not one that would require major repairs so soon. We expected transparency, professionalism, and care—none of which were consistently provided. Based on our experience, I would urge others to proceed with extreme caution when considering this dealership.

Avoid at All Costs – Worst Car Buying Experience of My Life We bought a brand new 2024 Subaru Impreza RS from Ourisman Subaru Waldorf in March, and within weeks, it required a full transmission replacement. We live two hours away and were misled about rental availability during service. After multiple visits and poor communication, we were never informed prior to major repairs being started—only found out after calling ourselves. Most disturbing was receiving a call from Chris Thorne saying that he would report us to the police if we did not return the rental car by the end of the day on a workday, despite our clear explanations about work and distance, and despite receiving no urgent prior notification. This has been a deeply stressful experience. We paid for a new car, not for a refurbished one. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and the way my wife and I were treated was absolutely unacceptable.

I couldn’t be more pleased and happier with the service provided by Ourisman Motors of Waldorf in the purchase of my 2024 Subaru Forester. Specifically, starting with Ms. Amanda Sisk that provided the Forester car data, set up appointment, and ensured following my buy that my extended warranty coverage got put in place properly. For the majority of the sales work upon getting to the dealer, Mr. Mason Greenwell provided superb professional, personal and poised sales service. He explained all aspects of the sale, allowed for a test drive, and expertly took me through the purchase process and made it all effortless. I know he did great job because he answered my many questions on the car features, of which are many along with sound replies on the sales contract covering my purchase. He did it confidently but with firm understanding and answered my questions clearly and concisely. I made long 1.5-hour trip across town from the Virginia side to get there and he made it worthwhile. So, I would highly recommend using Mr. Mason for your purchase and don’t let distance get in the way of making it over to Ourisman Motors of Waldorf. I sure glad I did and am extremely satisfied and happy with a 2024 Forester.

I would rate five out of five stars on the services here in Subaru Waldorf because Nick and Vincent was very professional, respectful and kind and during our conversation explained everything to me, BUT on the sales part PLEASE DO NOT BUY a car here because the sales staff here are VERY DISHONEST, they will FOOL and TRICK YOU in order to sell their vehicles. Our conversation and agreements were very clear, but then they will make you sign papers that states differently- its a trap. And when you appealed it they will play the card “Oh you signed everything on the paper, that means you understood everything in it”. Subaru is a good car, but please don’t go here to buy, go to some other dealership. I am planning to buy another one this year hopefully my family and I will find people who are actually honest and decent to do business with.
