What Others Say

We were in the market for buying a car outright cash and this was one of several dealerships we went to over a couple week period. This was the worst experience of all of them. I want to stress that the lady that helped find cars for us there was nice and helpful and not part of the issue. We looked at a preowned 2022 Kia Sportage (pics attached) which was very promising for our buying conditions. Test driving it we found the AC didn't work at all, this wasn't disclosed beforehand. Afterwards back in the office I asked for the incident report and found it had two prior incidents, One in the side and one in the front, and that AC work had been done just a few weeks earlier. That's to be expected for some preowned, so not a big deal. The issue is that they were fully prepared to sell me a car without telling me about the non-working AC. I spoke with the manager and he said they already knew about the non-working AC and "had plans" to fix it. So why were they still selling it in that condition without disclosure! The lady helping me didn't know about the AC, she would have sold it to me if I hadn't found the issue. AC is a basic function and a car should not be out on a dealership lot without it working, and especially without disclosing it before buying. Absolute scummy tactics at this place. We left right after and ended up buying a car the same day having a wonderful experience at another dealership in Charlotte.

BUYER BEWARE! Giving this business only 1 star, because its not possible to give a negative number! On May 7th, 2025 we bought our new Lincoln Corsair at Classic Lincoln of Shelby, in Shelby NC. What a disaster! It's been 50 days so far, yes almost 2 months and it took this long to get paperwork errors corrected on the purchase agreement and I still can't register my car in SC because no one has sent the title work for the DMV to recognize the VIN. Utterly absurd and totally unacceptable! They let us take the car the day we bought it because they said they were having computer issues but no one knew what they were doing! I was sent multiple DocuSign agreements since then, which I refused to sign until the information was correct because there were multiple errors. Have called multiple times but no one is ever available and no one seems to care. They also charge what I would call 'exorbitant' document fees of $999 and $1800 in fees that no one seemed to be able to explain. I know, my fault for accepting but you live and learn. Not sure how much longer it will be before i can get my car tagged. I'll probably have to elevate this issue to another level. Just shop elsewhere and save yourself all this trouble and expense! BUYER BEWARE!

Long story short, needed diagnosis for non start . Got 8:00 time. Would not provide a Lincoln loaner. Took over 2 hours to diagnose it need new battery. Asked, ‘how much will this cost?” Quoted 250ish on the phone. I said ok. They will call when ready. At 4pm I called and they said they did not have the battery yet. A Lincoln Ford dealer does not have a battery? Went over at 5 but it wasn’t ready until 5:30. Went to pay. Cost was neatly 500. FOR A BATTERY. To top it off they didn’t wash the car( standard practice for a Lincoln dealership). They had recommended that I change the air filter. (I just changed it myself three months ago). It took this dealership 9.5 hours to complete a 30 minute job, charge twice a much as quoted, and recommend unnecessary part replacement. I would say these guys have a wonderful racket going there. If you looking for service, overpriced parts, and a lying service desk , these are your guys.

Jesse was the service writer that received me in as a customer. He was very informative of what would be done with my service. Informed me of the time it would take. He was very professional. i have been taking my vehicle in for service since my purchase from this dealership for my vehicle and Jesse was one of the best service adviser that I have had interaction with.

I took the truck there running. It had issues of not starting at times. I had it towed home today because it would not run. They charged me almost $200 for nothing. They wanted me to commit to $840 for them to do more diagnostics with no guarantee of results which I refused. I will never do business here again. It’s a rip off.
