I’m not sure if they ever actually had the car in stock, but they lead me around the whole facility trying to get me to buy a different car. “I think it’s here. Hey, check out that Lamborghini!” To make it worse, I was texting with the staff all week about the car under the guise that they actually had the car. Then, after all the walking around the property looking for the car, having the sales guy playing dumb, we get back to the sales floor, they tell me the car isn’t there (after texting me about the car all week and making an actual appointment to look at the car). And then all they did was try to sell me a Toyota. These people strung me along. Absolutely not buying from them.
My brand new car repeatedly totally drained of electricity w/o any causes / reasons. After they worked on my car for over 2 weeks and Grossinger City Autocomplex claimed they are not responsible for the cause of electricity discharge. They insisted they can’t diagnose the problem that caused the electricity discharge & they can not repair t...
Salesman omitted many facts and service here is terrible. Now they have just disappeared! Sounds fishy! Tried to rate 0, but this page will not let me.
I have had SERIOUS issues with Grossinger. The day I bought my car, the check engine light came on. I brought it to Grossinger and they kept the car for 3 days while they got the part and made sure it was installed correctly. When I got my car back, there were huge deep scratches on the side of the car. They took the car back and said they would fix it. They kept the car for another 2 weeks while they repaired it. Then, they drove the car to a body shop in the FAR suburbs of Chicago and added over 80+ miles to my brand new car with only 60 miles on it. I made multiple calls, sent emails, and left voicemails to Grossinger and they never responded to me. There were many more issues along the way, but the general manager promised he would make it right after multiple mess ups on their part. He asked me to think about what would make it right, I suggested that we continue the maintenance service to be extended past one oil change, they said they would look into it and get it done. And have ignored me since. Basically, they will say WHATEVER it takes to get you to buy a car, then say whatever it takes to make you go away.
The service department of this dealership is a joke, I'm having my car towed from there after they have failed to fix the car properly for the third time. Each time they have had it, they break something else in the process. I'm not sure if this is a scam to keep getting more $$$ or what, needless to say I'm removing my car from their facility to have it repaired and all they work they claimed to do on it inspected as the shoddy workmanship performed by this dealer can't be trusted. Mark the service manager, and Paul the service advisor could care less about customer satisfaction, perhaps they will care when the real boss asks the what happened when they have to respond to a court summons.
If you're in search for a new or used car, be sure to check them out and ask for Neil Duncan he's very friendly and he'll work with you to try to get you what you want..
