Took a new (under1,500 miles) dodge truck in for a recall, now over 3 weeks later they still have my truck, and they don't know when the repair part will be in, asked to put the truck back in drivable condition as when i took it there and they refused. Service writer even cursed me. Never ever take any vehicle in for service to this dealer, there are other Chrysler/Dodge dealers nearby with a much better rating.
STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY SOLD US A TRUcK WiTH A BAD TRANSMISSIONS WE RETURNED THE TRUCK IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS AFTER WE BOUGHT IT, THEY TOOK THE TRUCK INTO THE SERVICE DEPT. THEY CALLED 2 DAYS LATER AND SAID THE TRUCK HAD A BAD TRANSMISSION. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO ORDER A NEW ONE AND THAT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 3 WEEKS. , EACH TIME WE CALLED TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE STATUS OF THE TRUCK THEY SAID THEY WERE STILL WAITING FOR THE PART . AFTER THEY KEPT THE TRUCK FOR 59 DAYS THEY RETURNED THE TRUCK,. THEY DID NOT MENTION THAT THEY HADNT REPAIRED THE TRUCK THEY JUST LET US DRIVE THE TRUCK AWAY, AS SOON AS WE PULLED OF THE LOT WE COULD TELL IT HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED, NOW THEY ARE TOTALLY REFUSING TO REPAIR THE TRUCK AND THEY MADE SURE THEY KEEP THE TRUCK LONG ENOUGH ,SO WE COULD NOT RETURN IT. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS.. IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF GO SEE SAM COOK. , THEY SOLD US A TRUCK THE CANNOT EVEN BE DRIVEN. THEY NEED TO CHANGE THIER NAME TO CROOK AUTOMOTIVE
DO NOT GO TO COOKS AUTOMOTIVE! They lie, they discriminate against women, they sold my sister a lemon and refuse to give her a loaner car while pretending to fix her car! She had come back with this car leaking fluids three times all within the 1st month of purchasing. This place is a disgusting ripoff. Chris and the young boy pretending to be the owner should be ashamed and the actual owner should know how they are discrediting his business. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!
Let me start by saying... I absolutely HATE buying vehicles! For many reasons.. The length of stay.. you get lied to.. I am a woman so I feel like I am being belittled half the time... With all of that said.. I had to come here with my daughter to buy a car... I was completely shocked! They didn't try to sell my daughter all the extra crap! We were in and out in record time! I was so impressed that my husband and I went back to buy our truck! Never have I ever had a smooth car buying experience like this!! The manager Dan is absolutely amazing!! Addressing any concerns, coming up with great solutions.. He makes you feel like you have known him forever! I just can't say enough about our experience! I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great vehicle at a super fair price!
Cook Automotive pursues the too common strategy of obscuring the true price of the vehicle with a hefty documents fee of $499 (this is in addition to the expected tax, titling, and registration fees). This is the maximum allowed by law minus $1, and it is displayed as small and as far from the advertised price in their listings as allowed by law. They obviously don’t want customers to see it. It worked for me, and I was unpleasantly surprised by the fee at closing. The general manager explained that they need to price this way to compete since “all” other dealers charge a documents fee. So, they are following a status-quo non-transparent pricing strategy which means they get a status-quo 3-star review. Mr. Cook, customers don’t want to play “I Spy” with your documents fee.
Sean refused to give me any type of price. Wanted me to drive an hour just to give me a price quote. So clearly the advertised prices aren’t legit. Plenty of dealerships out there that will give you a price. Shady.
