I had engine trouble while in Door County and a local garage recommended that I call Witt to repair it as it was a certified Ford dealer and service center. The work was done quickly and they even repaired a hose that had a crack, other than the original problem. The repairs cost more than originally told they would be but I had to get back down to my home.I questioned them about the repairs as I had been told by the local garage that it would require more than what the service center said it needed and was assured that they saw this problem many times in my type of Ford and it would be fine. There was a 12 mo/12,000 mile warranty that they now refuse to honor and it has only been 10 weeks and 4200 miles! I have been told by my certified mechanic near my home that now my vehicle will need a head replaced or a used engine put into my truck because the repair done by Witt Service Center was wrong and the threads are stripped and the spark plug hole is now oval. I am without a vehicle, I cannot afford another costly repair and Witt Service Center is saying oh well. Tough Luck! I feel I was over charged for the repair, the repair was done poorly and incorrectly and I was lied to. In 40+ years of owning vehicles and having them repaired, this is the very worst service I have ever encountered and I will not ever take my vehicle to this dealership again!
My wife and I went to numerous car places to look for a car for my wife. The first we went to did not even give us the time of day. One salesperson looked at us and turned around pretending we were not even there. We drove up to sturgeon bay hoping to find a salesperson to take care of us. Ron Hawkins meet us at the door and welcomed us to witt ford and asked if he could help us. After talking with him for awhile he said that all his salespeople where busy but he would be glad to help us. He was the manger. He spent a lot of time working with us to try to find a car that fit our budget. After looking around for a while he brought up a 2009 fusion. We drove it and feel on love with it. Ron helped us through the credit process and got us a great rate and the payment was lower then we expected. Overall a great experience. We felt witt wanted our business.
THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST EXPERIENCE THAT WE HAVE EVER HAD BUYING A VEHICLE. SCOTT LISTENED INTENTLY TO ALL OF OUR NEEDS AND HELPED US GET OUR NEW ESCAPE. WE WERE ABLE TO GET EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED, AND THEY BEAT EVERY OTHER PRICE THAT WE HAD GOTTEN FROM OTHER DEALERSHIPS. IT FEELS GOOD TO KNOW THAT WE WILL NOT HAVE TO LEAVE STURGEON BAY WHEN WE ARE LOOKING FOR VEHICLES IN THE FUTURE!
I know this may get a bit wordy but I flet I needed to tell my horror story! Went there because of a promotion that could get us into a car on a Friday. Promotion was good and would work for our situation. BUT, coustomer service was horrible. Dan was friendly but the waste of our time was un excusable. Todd was friendly at first but he had an attitude that made me feel like I was inturupting his time. Picked out a car over the weekend and had them work on financing Monday morning. Came in a bit high but Dan told me to come up there and make him an offer and they would make it work. I asked "are you sure cause I am an hour drive away". After he said "we will make it work for your budget" I drove there. 1 hour drive there. 3 hours there only to find that this car would not work for us on our budget. They told me they found a different car that would work in our budget and I drove home. I could have done all of this on the phone cause the car I picked out was not even there. We had to go to a competitor of theirs to take a test drive. But we did not like it when we test drove it. So we had another that we drove and liked. 8 Hours of my time in all Monday. But they told me they could make this other car work for sure in our budget and they can absolutly get the finacing to work. Todd would call me in the morning with the numbers. Next day I had to call there only to find out that both Dan and Todd do not work on Tuesdays, so they do not sell cars on that day? Ron said no one else could give me info on the finacing cause "Todd takes care of all of that" and he would stop in today to call me. I had told Ron that we did not like the car but we did want the other one. I ended up having to call the bank myself at 5pm to find out that they did approve us. The bank said, We gave the dealer your approval last night! They did not call you?, I was stunned that they said that. The next day I called them in the morning to find out the exact numbers so we could get into our new car and Dan kept telling me that Todd was working on finacing other cars they sold Tuesday and I was pushed back. I was there on Monday but pushed to the end of the line. At 5pm I finally got a call with numbers that were way over what they first told me on Monday night on the car we did not like!!!!! This was over 48 hours later to get the numbers from them. If you dont want to sell me a car, dont waste almost a week of my time. I could not beleive that I was treated so badly. In all my years I have never felt so disgusted with coustomer service. All around HORRIBLE!!!! I called another dealer Wed. night, expalined my situation, the promotion that Witt had and the type of car we were looking for. LESS than 24 hours later we were driving away in a better, newer model, lower priced certified car. We were treated with respect. I am sure that they dont treat everyone like this but they need to get their act together. I DO NOT RECOMEND THEM!!!!
Ron was very helpful, by finding the right vehicle for me. He spent that extra time no one else would spend, to really listen to my needs and wants, and helped me pick a car that fit my budget. Great experience.
Great customer service, really went out of there way to make sure I was happy. The tire sale was a great deal, new tires and mounting for under $500!! Will be going back again!!
