What Others Say

It's my opinion that people should stay away. They damaged center console trim and refused to fix it (or take responsibility) saying the tech connecting the car to Tech Stream wouldn’t place the laptop on the center console (which is xx, IMO) They don't take responsibility. The car was just purchased - not even a month old. I was detailing the interior (after waxing the exterior). I wanted the steering wheel to stop moving back, which required the dealership to hook up a computer to the steering wheel and change the computer. It's common sense that the tech placed the laptop on the center console area while working on the steering wheel and connecting the computer to car's computer. (Since there isn't room to place on their lap with the steering wheel fully extended in front of the tech). Again this common sense. The interior *was* pristine beforehand - and just detailed the day the before by me

This is a review specifically for the service department of Lexus Escondido. I have not purchased a new car through them yet, but I will on my next Lexus. I am extremely careful with my cars and I maintain them visually myself. I’m not a big fan of scuffs on the door sills or new marks that show up when automotive service places are just negligent. Lexus Escondido is NOT negligent. They listen to what you’re concerned about and work around your asks(even if said asks are a little crazy.). I have an all white interior on my 24’ LC500 and I wrap up all the vulnerable parts of the interior before I bring it to them so they can just do their work. Christian Burke is super communicative on the service writing side and Rafael is a lead tech that honestly explains anything and everything he’s doing to your ride if it’s somewhat involved. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I even had an issues with an aftermarket lift from Westcott on my 24’ GX550 and Lexus Escondido didn’t bat an eye and fixed what trash work Westcott designs did out in Arizona. I will bring all my service work, including my dads Lexus, to Christian Burke forever. Of note: I live all the way down in San Diego and drive PAST Lexus San Diego up to Escondido to have such a good experience.

I recently brought my Lexus in for its 35,000-mile service and a full tire replacement, and I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and professional. A special thank-you to Maryann, my service advisor, who was incredibly helpful throughout. She clearly explained what the service included, and kept me updated every step of the way. Her communication was excellent and made the whole experience stress-free. I'd also like to personally thank Mr. Doumit for overseeing the service and ensuring everything was completed to the highest standard. The new tires (Michelin Defender 2) feel fantastic, and the ride is noticeably smoother and more responsive. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the care they took with my vehicle. It's reassuring to know that my car is in such capable hands. I've always trusted Lexus for quality, and this visit reaffirmed that trust thanks to the outstanding team here. Highly recommend the Escondido location for anyone looking for top-notch Lexus service!

I’m writing to bring attention to a troubling experience I had at your Escondido service center, which has left me frustrated and concerned. This past weekend, I contacted your team by phone to ask whether your service department could assist with either repairing scratches on the lower lip of my bumper or replacing the bumper guard and cover. I was told that you could help and was encouraged to come in at my convenience. I rearranged my schedule and visited on Monday, waiting patiently for about 45 minutes before being acknowledged — which I had no issue with. However, when I was finally seen by the service advisor, Tyler, I was surprised by how dismissive the interaction was. Without even inspecting my vehicle, he told me to go to another dealership in Carlsbad. I asked again, politely, if someone could simply take a look at the damage, especially since I had taken time off work to come in — but he declined a second time. While he eventually handed me part numbers, the overall interaction felt rushed and dismissive. After leaving, I called the dealership again to confirm whether replacing bumper components was a service you offer — and once again, I was told it is. That contradiction only added to my confusion and wasted time, as I now have limited time left to submit repair quotes to my tow company. What stood out even more was the stark difference in how I was treated compared to another customer. As I was leaving Tyler’s office, he greeted a young woman nearby with warmth and a big smile and immediately invited her into his office. The contrast in tone and enthusiasm was striking — especially after such a cold interaction with me. I couldn’t help but wonder whether unconscious bias or profiling was at play. I sincerely hope that wasn’t the case, but the difference was significant enough to raise that concern. To add to the difficulty, I had tried calling the service desk multiple times earlier that day in an attempt to confirm my visit — but was unable to reach anyone after several attempts. I’ve always associated Lexus with a premium customer experience and respectful treatment, which is why this situation feels so disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I would appreciate clarification on how to move forward with getting my vehicle evaluated and serviced. Thank you for your time and attention

I went to Lexus Escondido today, and the sales guy named Mike was trying to rob me by giving me a very low trade in value at 22 thousand, he never inspected the car, he just low valued my trade in from the start. I had left the dealership when Ean the Sales Manager tells me that he can come closer to my pay off amount wich was 29 thousand, that is a total of 7 thousand dollars that Mike was trying to rob me of by offering me a very low trade in. I went back and spoke with Ean and Mike, Ean offered me 29 thousand for my car but tried to make it up by selling me the Lexus Es 300 at above MSRP and was not even trying to work with me on a lease, Ean wanted to have me finance the vehicle, when I mentioned to them that I had leased a vehicle in 2022 and at that time I was given a decent deal and that's what I was asking for Mike replied that was back in 2022, I financed my house back then at 1.9 percent, and basically telling me things are different now but in a sarcastic way, then Mike got a call and left the office. This dealership is full of crooks and scammers, how do you go from low balling me on a trade in, then come back with a 7 thousand dollar difference, then try to make it up by selling me an overpriced Lexus. I am glad I did not buy a car from them today, My basic Camry is a smoother ride than the Lexus Es300, don't just take my word for it go give them a test drive. I urge you to do your research before going to these crooks, I will never buy another Lexus vehicle again.

I purchased a brand new 2024 is 350 4 weeks ago & its already giving me issues, it smelled like burn & my whole screen went blank, i took it in to service & was told it was the dcm not working that it was a factory defect & had to change it, that it would take 3 weeks to a month approximate to fix because the part needed to be ordered, first of all it is very unfair that im purchasing a brand new vehicle for lexus dealer to be selling me a defective car they say its out of their control to know which car will be defective but i think its more unfair that i the customer should pay so much money for a defective car. After a week of asking & trying to speak to a sales manager everyone i spoke to because i kept getting transferred over & over first i spoke to sophia in service i spoke to laurie wich they said was a manager but was unable to help me & i spoke to vanessa a service manager also unable to help me, my salesperson emiliano was trying for me to speak with sales manager sammy D but he never reached out to me,sales person Gurmeet said if i wanted to get out of the sale i would have to pay approximately 6,000 dollars i never said i wanted to get out of a sale all i want is to be given a safe non defective vehicle without me having to put another down payment, how hard is that to understand, all of them had no knowledge of how to go about the situation, was even told to go in person this past saturday i sat there over an hour to be told manager was not available until monday, i live 45 minutes away which again wasted my time i was unable to attend a very important personal matter because the loaner i was in was not able to be driven into mexico or i would be fined, again dissapointment there, for the same reason 4 weeks ago i purchased brand new car to be able to have a reliable working car that i can feel safe in with my kids, finally yesterday monday march 4th 2024 i was able to meet in person with a sales manager aj he tried to work with me asked me what i wanted & i asked to be placed in another vehicle that is safe & not factory defective he was able to give me diffrent options but wanted me to cancel my 7 year extended warranty that i purchased for the is 350 which is worth 4,500 so i could use it as a new down payment how dare they want me to pay again when just four weeks ago i left a 3,000 downpayment i think its ridiculous, i shouldnt have to pay nothing because it is not my fault i got stuck with a defective vehicle, I am rating it a one star very poorly because this location lexus of escondido needs more training to better their communication & customer service skills so that us consumers can be their number one priority. I have opened a claim with lexus corporate and will be waiting for a response, by far my worst experience purchasing a vehicle
