What Others Say

Linda and Jaime were most helpful in explaining all the benefits and advantages of 2024 Subaru Solterra. Jaime promptly answered all my questions. I highly recommend Subaru Sherman Oaks dealership.

Negligence. Dishonest behavior. Does not stand behind product or support customer they just sell and move on and hope to wear you down. Happy to provide all documentary support of communications with Subaru and proof of what is written in this review. MY experience with Subaru and Subaru Sherman Oaks- Bought NEW 2024 $38,000 Outback Onyx on 9/4/23 at this dealership. Payment was cash and trade in of my 2018 Crosstrek. At 1400 miles (6 weeks after purchase), eyesight safety equipment failed, literally just turned off. The Eyesight system is advertised heavily EVERYWHERE by Subaru. What Subaru does not disclose (actually keeps hush hush) is that the 2023 and 2024 models have a new generation of equipment made by a different manufacturer. The 2023 and 2024 models are subject to Safety system failures. This means all the safety enhancements advertised on Subaru.com and in dealership marketing material - collision braking, lane change warnings et al - are likely to just fail to work when you are driving the car. No recall has been instituted and the dealership does not disclose this when you buy or are looking to buy. I was asked to bring the car back 3 times, the last being the 'full and final' fix declared certain to fix the problem by dealership and Subaru Corporate. Sadly it did not. Dealership and Corporate want to keep repairing. Asked to provide exactly what they plan to do to the car after what was allegedly a full and final fix - results in SILENCE. Asked how many repair attempts they think is fair before I ask them to buy back or replace vehicle under Lemon Law state statutes - THEY ARE SILENT. I ask them to work with me one on one to buy back the car or replace with a NON DEFECTIVE car- as they should in the case of failure at 1400 miles - results in SILENCE. Demand letter went to Subaru Sherman Oaks to ether buy back or replace the defective NEW car - THEY ARE SILENT. Offered 10 videos and screen shots showing the system not working between 12/20/23 3rd repair and today - THEY ARE SILENT. Dealership claims they need car to show the default when it is in their possession to see it - but return the car in less than 24 hours claiming it didn't do it on their test drive so it is cured!. Standup behavior, no? Brand NEW CAR off the lot which is now worthless. $38,000 spent and the dealership buries their head in the sand? Bottom line - Legal action against Subaru and dealer in process under CA Lemon Law. I am very sad to report this experience as there are a few good folks there at the dealership- unfortunately not enough! Very sad day! Please let me know if you need to see any paperwork supporting this review. Happy to provide.

When we decided that we were ready to upgrade our Forester to the Ascent, I searched all over Southern California for the best price and trim/color combo. Subaru Sherman Oaks came in with the best price and probably the easiest car buying process I've ever had. A few highlights: - Upfront pricing with no dealer-added fees or accessories. While many dealers' salespeople make you haggle to get the best price and add required accessories or fees on top of the price, Subaru Sherman Oaks does neither. I worked with Jose and Tamaz in internet sales and they came with their best, strongest offer right off the bat. Subaru Sherman Oaks' has a policy of no added dealer fees or accessories - the price is the price. They also allowed us to reserve the car during the week so that we could pick it up on the weekend, which was a huge plus. - Great pickup experience. They had our vehicle waiting for us when we arrived, and we were in and out in less than 3 hours. The dealership showroom definitely feels like a Subaru dealer with exposed beams and ample space for customers to view vehicles, accessory options, or wait for the next step in their purchase process. - Honest, straightforward employees. I always prefer buying cars from family dealers, so I was pleased to learn that Casa Cars and Subaru Sherman Oaks have been family owned since their inception. Each of the Subaru Sherman Oaks team that we interacted with were straightforward, friendly, and accommodating. Financing with Michael Redic (who you can thank for Subaru's Wilderness and Onyx trims!) was a breeze as he was transparent, knowledgeable, and kind. While Subaru Sherman Oaks is a bit of a drive for us, we'll definitely be returning for our future Subaru vehicle purchases.

Salesman Crosby did a great job and we would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a subaru! he was awesome and welcoming to our questions and concerns with the car. He was up to date on CPOs and other questions we had! A good kid!

I do not recommend that you gamble on Subaru Sherman Oaks' service department. Each time I have gone here I've been left with an unresolved problem. Their staff are welcoming, but each time I’ve been there in the last few years has been disappointing, and I now have a terrible problem they caused directly, one that others have complained about also. I’ve had all services since I bought the car, including oil changes, done here. The technician used an air wrench on the oil drain plug, something every professional, certified mechanic is trained not to do, and over-tightened the plug and rounded the bolt head. He may also have cross-threaded it. Now the car is due for it’s oil change but the oil drain plug is not removable because of the service department’s negligence. The warning against using an air tool on that plug is so universal, and so easy for even those not mechanically inclined to understand, that the only explanation is management’s implementation and approval of the forbidden use of an air tool. They say one thing (speaking down to me with overused generalizations, charging a deductible on my warranty, but not doing any work, or I have to bring the car back). This is a major problem to fix. Subaru Sherman Oaks should be ashamed of this kind of thing. Don't have your car serviced here.

Once again great service great people.Thank you like always for making my service on my 2016 STI a wonderful experience.Your the best.Highly recommend.
