Purchased our 2024 Mazda CX-5 in May of 2024 and purchased a service contract from Ally and GAP insurance as well. Comes To December 3rd we Trade that vehicle in because it did not work for our family anymore. Come to the dealership to cancel our Service contract and Gap insurance and told me it was already cancelled which we had not done. Turns out it was cancelled in April of 2024 so doesn't make too much sense. But Kyle the finance manager stated he would speak to someone In the morning and then get back with us. We get a text from Kyle next morning everything was straightened out and we would get our refund in 6-8 weeks. Well 8 weeks go by and we have heard nothing. We call Kyle and get no answers finally we get told to call the bank so we did and they tell us that Ally still has it so they give me the number to call them. I call Ally and they say they already sent the refund to the dealership. Well I have my husband contact the dealership and the GM Jason. He says he will work on it and get us a check cut to us for the amount but we needed to prove the vehicle was paid for which we sent that information over. Jason said he would check on the check and let us know. this was over the course of two more weeks my husband would text Jason and hear nothing well finally we had enough and he went to the dealership on 2/1/25 and they told him they were still looking into it and there were some miscommunications and he can not get us a check and will update us on 2/3/25. This is the most frustrating and most unprofessional dealership I have ever worked with. I am tired of not getting answers and not being told what is going on. So please be aware if you go here and have to cancel anything with them.

In May, I gave the 2024 Soul that I had bought in March 2024 to my daughter. She loves the vehicle! Because of my positive 2 1/2 month experience with it, I decided to buy a 2025 Soul for myself in August. It really is a great, practical vehicle! It looks small on the outside but is relatively cavernous on the inside. Again, my thanks to the Jason, John, James and the rest of the sales/finance team that helped me with the transaction.

Bought a 2024 Kia Soul today and found that all the folks I dealt with during the experience were kind, helpful and genuinely concerned with my satisfaction. Kudos to Jason Brandt, John Chidsey, James Wiggs and the rest of the staff at Kia/Mazda of New Bern!

Service center is either scam artists, or incompetent. Had a diagnostics done at a different car shop that said the check engine light in wife's Mazda 5 was a bad 02 sensor and that the Mazda service center HAD to do it. Called, told them the issue and made appointment to drop off car. Got a call from them that they performed another diagnostics (that we paid for again) and that they had to order the 02 sensor, which would take two days. Asked them why we dropped the car off if they didn't have the part....no answer. They also said a tie rod needed replaced, which we agreed to. We set a date to come back and thought we paid the bill in full ($518). Wife just picked it up and was charged another $411. So $929 for a diagnostics, tire patch, one tie rod end, and one 02 sensor. Hope they enjoy the money because we'll never be back!

purchased a used 2013 Honda insite. after 5 months the car consumed excessive oil with no warning and now needs a new engine. Was a known issue for this year insite. Dealer and Honda refuse to back their product. will not purchase from this dealership again!!!!
