Mai Le was our salesperson. She was very helpful and probably was the reason we returned the next day to purchased the car she showed us. The car was for my great granddaughter. She stayed with us thru the entire process.
Misleading pricing and bait-and-switch tactics. I went to Walker’s Renton Mazda to buy a vehicle that was clearly quoted to me at $33,000 by their salesperson, Koffi Becanty. After I signed a credit authorization form and they pulled my credit (confirmed by Experian), the price suddenly changed to $34,500. When I questioned the increase, I was told by Sales Manager Trey Castles that there was nothing they could do and that I’d have to accept the new price. I had not agreed to or signed any purchase contract. I also have a witness and handwritten notes that confirm the original price. This kind of bait-and-switch behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Be very cautious when giving them your personal information — especially before anything is finalized in writing.
Top notch auto dealer! Jack was my salesman and I am 100% impressed! Jack has a great personality and made me feel like I was a friend. He was able to get me to a great deal on my new Mazda 3 Carbon Edition. Made me feel that he was on my side... excellent job Jack! Chatted with several other sales staff there while we waited for finance manager. All the sales staff I spoke with were great. There was a "difficult" customer in the showroom and both the sales guy and one of the sales managers did an outstanding job in still showing respect towards them and guiding the customer away from us buyers. All sales staff and both sales managers are awesome!! Best new car experience yet. The finance manager might want to talk a bit less and not show customers his disrespect towards other employees... but with the sales staff and the sales managers, that is not effecting my 5 star review!
Very professional & timely. I was greeted & taken care of. I very much appreciate that. An overall great experience.
Do not buy from this dealership. They DO NOT follow state law. I bought a new car and traded in my old car. They failed to remove the license plates before they sold it. Once accident and 4 tickets later, I'm having to prove to my insurance company and the Kent, Tacoma, and Des Moines municipal courts, I no longer own the car. They created a huge headache for me. I reached out to the Sales Manager and he has done zero to remedy their mistake. Even blamed it on the Auction house who they sold it to, saying they were responsible for removing the plates. Not True. State Law says the dealership is responsible for removing the plates before they sell. He also said, "You have the Report of Sale to prove you no longer own the car, just use that for your documentation". I shouldn't have to prove anything! Buyer beware. I would steer clear of this dealership. Bad, bad business practices.
It is our first time here and we like the ease of dropping the car, setting up the apo ointment online, the staff were helpful and video sent to us about the car. We will be back for our next maintenance check
