Eddie is great, management sucks! Bought this car got 10 miles down the road engine light come on. Brought it back right away. They said cat needs replaced and they would fix it. 10 days later they call and say they have the part. Drop it off they call several days later and say hey it needs a new engine. 2 months later they say it's ready for pickup. The photos are of the car when I went to pick it up. Wheel wells were in the back and there was oil in the coolant. Any help from management? Nope. They wanted me to trade in this car I had for 10 days at half the original loan amount and put me in a car where the payment was doubled. That was management's solution. I bought a warranty with the car. What does the warranty say. Well they said NO WAY. So for now the car is going back to the shop again. Worst experience ever. Buyer beware!
Actually I would rate it at a zero if that was an option. I remember a time when Phil Long was all about customer service and doing right by then, but things must have changed since then with new management or something because that sure isn’t how things are now. This is the biggest clown show I’ve ever seen and they are now truly holding up to a Used Car Salesman’s title! Anything just to get the sale…lie, steal, scam the customer is what it’s all about for Phil Long Lincoln and Phil Long ValuCar dealerships. I am very disgusted and disappointed in how they treated and still are treating me and how they somehow made the mistakes and are shoving that as my responsibility. Just know that in the end I will get my $7,000 cash down payment back and they can have the xxx that they stuck me with guaranteed. It’s just such a waste of time to have to deal with something like this so if you want a smooth, friendly and honest place to buy your next car, don’t go to these guys.
If I could give a 0 I would. Bunch of liars and reason why used car salesmen get a bad wrap. Bought a very nice truck was informed some items to include scratch and alignment would be completed. Was told both would be done within a “few days”. Dropped vehicle off and did not receive it back for nearly two weeks. I was told no alignment was done because that has to go to the service department and they would need to make new appointment. We did for the following Monday. Tried to confirm with our sales person Tom who state it was not something they were now going to cover because he didn’t have to nor did her write it in the agreement (which he did). He told us no manager was present to deal with. I called the dealership and a manager was there. He state he would take care of it and to bring it in and this time they will have a loaner for us since we went two weeks previously without our car. I show up and they have a loaner on “Empty” and gas light on. Manager did not come out but has another salesperson bring me keys. I brought gas to his attention and he stated he does not have to put gas in it because they won’t be driving my truck. I call to find status on vehicles second issues dropped off for and the manager stated he will find out. No call for 40 min. I decide to try one more time and I receive a text that he was with customers and could not talk. I had just pulled into dealership lot and walked in to find him not with customers and had a terrified look on his face that I had shown up to see the lies outright. Culture of this place is about getting people to sign the deal and then lying through their teeth. I love the truck however would do anything to have not done business with these people. Only plus I would give is to their auto body shop who did a great job on scratch.
BUYERS BEWARE!!! Don't go here!! Lies and very dangerous people. On 03.05.2022 I went to this place. Horrible people! Matthew, Wes and Ray. Steer clear of them. I'm a single female with two kids and they did use it against me. I was asking questions about a trade in and they showed me xxxxty cars. Shoot I was just playing to get more about a trade in..Well I didn't want to trade in just seeing what's out there. They were pressuring me fill out papers. I wanted to leave but they had my car keys. They wouldn't give them back. Well it was a long day. They kept pressuring and pressuring me to do it. Even tho I wanted to leave I own a 2017 Toyota Yaris to trade a 2015 Jeep Patriot it smelled like terrible cigarettes. Well they were surrounding me like they are going to do something. Well it came to paying. I declined my card and the guy Ray was a horrible person he was so mad my kids were scared and wanted to go home. I did to. But they had my car keys and the other car keys. They put me in a loaner car for the weekend. I thought it was too late but they did it was until I looked online. I could cancel even though I said I wanted to cancel. Well first thing Monday 03.07.2022. I went back to get my car keys to my car. I didn't finish paperwork, I didn't pay nor did I sign my title over. Honestly I was being dumb and stupid. I put myself into that situation but they wouldn't let us leave. I should of called 911. Bc myself and 2 boys were I a tension area and three big men. Terrible people they nearly fooled me and I allowed it until snapped back. They were so pissed the deal wasn't made. So pissed. Just don't fall prey to them. Don't fall prey. They just lies selling cars even when not a good car because the 2015 car they just had and it had a cigarette burn on the front seat and smelt reaping of cigarettes and I told them. Also everytime I asked a question they didn't answer and pushed papers. They lie and I see why laws are in place. Also, why articles are written about situations like this. Sad to say don't be a single female with kids and go there. Bet y'all will delete this post. When you do I will be taking matter to the courts.
This dealership is the epitome of the "used car salespeople are shady." They convinced us to buy a car that had problems without a full test drive then only let us exchange for a car that had basically the same problems. When I tried to have them fix the problems, they made me sit there for several hours over several days while ignoring my existence. SHOP LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!!! This dealership and the staff are xxxx. They don't care about their customers at all.
