We bought a Kia Telluride at Federico. The buying process was good. However their service department is awful. I brought the car in because I was smelling antifreeze. You could clearly smell it which indicates a problem. Max-the useless service guy said there were no leaks. He then said he added coolant because it was a little low which would also indicate a leak. I still have the paperwork with these statements on it. The car was close to being out of warranty. Fast forward a couple months and antifreeze is leaking onto my garage floor. We contacted Max again and he was zero help. I won’t buy another car from Federico. I took my car to a local service shop and they basically said they weren’t surprised that Max pretty much scammed us out of our warranty time to fix the car.
Federico is my local Dodge/Chrysler Dealer. I dropped off my car in mid July. I was told it would 4-6 weeks because of back ordered parts. I had no problem with that. Once the 6 weeks was up I called to check in. I spoke to Justin and he stated parts were still on order. I asked him if he could call me every week just to let me know where it was, a 30 second phone call was it. He could not do that. Finally in Early September Courtni called me to inform me that after Justin called to tell me that my car was ready (which he did not) That they WRECKED it. There was a hole in the drivers side door. While pulling it in the porter ran into a rack and put a hole in my drivers side door. She apologized and stated that I would not have to repair it but they would be taking care of the damage. (How nice of them?) Two weeks later they called and said it was ready again. I showed up to pick it up and the door had a very sharp jagged edge on it. They said they would take care of that and I could pick it up in two days. I picked it up in two days. On my way home I noticed the inside lever of the drivers side door has three very sharp metal finish pealings on it. In fact it was so sharp it actually cut my hand. I called the Dealer Manager and he basically said that there was nothing they would do about it (Washing their Hands). Now I have an Unlimited milage warranty on this car with a $100 deductible. They waved that and kinda detailed my car for the inconvenience. They had my car for 3 months and a few days. Never again will I use Federico for anything.
The whole staff could not have been more welcoming and knowledgeable. It was a great deal and no surprises. Richard, the Detail Manager I believe, followed us to the gas station to make sure we left with a full tank. We drove 5 hours and it was well worth it!
We love Federico. Bob, Tony and the entire staff are the best. We have purchased 10 vehicles from them, and will purchase more in the future. It's nice to have an owner and sales people you can absolutely trust. They know our entires family's likes and dislikes. We have purchased everything from custom built, new and used. Have NEVER had a bad experience.
