What Others Say

If it were possible, I would give Damascus Chevrolet negative stars. I found the salesmen to be pushy and obnoxious. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Damascus Chevrolet for a car. I had trouble getting anyone to help me, either on the phone or when I sent an email. The sales people are unprofessional, and just rude. I was given false information about a car over the phone, I suspect just to get me to come in. Steer clear of this dealership unless you feel you need to be punished for something. They embody every negative stigmatism of the characteristics of a used car salesman. BY FAR, the WORST dealership I've ever had the misfortune to visit. I won't ever go back; unless of course I want to taunt them mercilessly. They don't deserve your business. Stay away!

Had a excellent time with the purchase of my truck and the extended warranty, They were very thorough and understanding. The transaction led me to purchasing a secoond vehicle from Damascus Chevrolet as well.

Tried to buy a new car here once. Spoke to the general manager first and we agreed on a price for the exact car with the exact options that I wanted. So far, so good. The GM then turns me over to another sales guy all of a sudden and says that the sales guy will write up my order. Fair enough. The sales guy writes up the order, except for the price. He asks me what the price is. I tell him the agreed upon price. He tells me that price is too low and he cannot sell the car for that price. I say we already have an agreement. Sales guy gets major attitude, raises his voice (to me and my wife), and asks me if I seriously expect the dealership to sell the car for $300 over invoice. Without blinking, I say yes. He then asks how the dealership is supposed to stay in business selling cars for that price. Without blinking again, I tell him holdbacks. Sales guy is clearly angry that I know his game, so my wife and I just look at each other and get up and leave. Good riddance. I bought the same exact car the next day at another local Chevrolet dealer at invoice price ($300 less), without any haggling. Go figure.
