I bought this car in October of 2022; I have been completely unhappy with the quality and durability of the vehicle. I have sent dozens of emails to the local manager with only sporadic responses. I also have had the car at the dealership for repairs over eight times. Not only is there a thunking sound that occurs every day while the car shifts, but the vehicle is also creaking all the time. The dealership I took the car to for repairs, Keffer Chrysler, mentioned that it was in some previous accident, and the EMRP I paid for would not cover it. The noises and creaking are getting worse. The repairs cost over $4k, and the problem persists. I had to pay a $100 copay every time I took the car in, but Enterprise only reimbursed two visits since they promised to fix any issue before delivery which they didn't. They are not returning my calls or emails at this point which is exceptionally unprofessional as they have been through this process. I want an exchange of the exact vehicle and am willing to negotiate options, money, etc., but I need to talk about the first steps. Honestly, the lack of response and communication from Enterprise has been the most stressful part. I do not feel like I have been taking care of and spent over 20K$. I have two children with special needs that rely on this car, and Im concerned about safety and reliability. I was promised that every vehicle is thoroughly inspected and checked before selling, but I do not believe this is the case since they knowingly sold me a car with multiple issues. Before contacting the BBB, I looked for corporate contact information or complaint messaging but could not locate a phone number or email. I have numerous emails backing up all these claims, as well as their few responses and the frustration of the lack of assistance on their part. I will provide all emails if needed.
Enter prise car sales Roanoke, Va. Don't purchase an extended warranty and don't make claims on the 12 month warranty. They don't work unless they are a direct tow off the road. We were assured by the Roanoke, Va. staff that what ever happened no matter where the car was if it happened to the drive train or engine it would be repaired if we purchased the warranties. Our repair facility claimed it was rodent damage without pictures or evidence and the company took their word. Without evidence. We are without a car. A very hefty bill too. Remember the company, Enterprise did not use pictures or evidence to make their decision. Word of mouth. Don't purchase very very scammy.
Last week Friday my experience was not pleasant. I felt that my sales man was more focused on the walk-in female rep instead of working with me in getting a good vehicle. But the vehicle price and payment is not an issue. I understood the down payment amount, I did not appreciate the flirtatious attitude from him towards the young rep. Maybe if he had dedicated the same amount of energy into his sale with me as a customer then I would have not hesitated in paying the down payment. No worries for me now for I went to his competitors ( Nissan) and purchase the same vehicle with someone with great customer service.
Well the service did not get better after the sale. I ended up buying a car because i believed their excuses and apologies. Let's just say it is a month after the sale, my temporary tag has expired, and no one will call me back on a holiday weekend. I paid extra for them to get my tags for me and all i got was an envelope full of paper with no instructions on what the next step was, all this the week of Thanksgiving. I have rented from Enterprise for years and have always received very good service. This is my first and last experience purchasing a car from them. In my opinion they should stick to renting cars.
First trip in my car was not ready for a test drive, when i had called ahead of time. Made a second appointment for days later with promises it would be ready. Called ahead of time to make sure all was in order. When i arrived more reasons (excuses). Waited an hour and finally had to leave for emergencies at home. Still no test drive! No contact or apology from sales manager. Sad customer service if you ask me. All this when i live an hour and a half away adds insult to injury.
The Guys there were very friendly and informative. My experience was a good one. Yes, I think it was a great idea to purchase a used vehicle. I would recommend to other people.
