What Others Say

I brought my 2021 Ford F-250 to Cannon Ford in Pascagoula after an accident for a headlight issue—the halo on one light wasn’t working. Unique Collision in Gulfport couldn’t diagnose it, so I chose Cannon based on prior positive experiences dating back to Estabrook. That meant driving 45 miles past three closer dealerships because I trusted their work. The truck was at Cannon from November 3, 2025 until mid-February. Within days of picking it up, I noticed my aftermarket fender lights and front camera were not working. Both were fully functional before the truck went in. I contacted the service department to ask whether this was related to a system update I was told had been performed, but received no response. For clarity, I installed the aftermarket fender lights using intermediate harnesses specifically so I would not have to cut or modify the factory wiring. Despite that, the technician cut into and damaged the factory wiring harness—something I intentionally avoided. After troubleshooting on my own, I found a voltage drop affecting the aftermarket lights. There were no voltage issues when I dropped the truck off; the only issue was the halo. I was later told it might be the body control module and agreed to move forward, expecting a proper diagnosis and repair. On March 24, 2026, I discovered the factory wiring harness had been damaged on both sides: two wires stripped on the driver’s side and four on the passenger side. Fasteners were missing, installed incorrectly, or forced into wrong locations. The lower grille bolts were installed behind the grille instead of securing it, and multiple grille clips were missing. When I raised these concerns, Service Manager Brian seemed more focused on why I had taken my own truck apart than on the condition I found. I paid over $2,000 for this work and it is reasonable to expect it to be done correctly. This was not a minor oversight. It was careless workmanship and unacceptable quality control. To be clear, Sarah was excellent throughout the process and communicated well. Unfortunately, that was the exception. Update – April 1, 2026: I got my truck back and the foreman could not explain why the harnesses had been cut into, but agreed the prior repair was terrible. He also said “insurance” would not allow him to replace the harness. The truck apparently had a BCM issue when I brought it in, but it left with a new BCM and botched wiring. Brian never called me back to address the issue, and I was not provided photos of the repair as requested. The foreman also stated Ford does not recommend adding lights inline with stock wiring. I asked whether Ford recommends damaging factory wiring harnesses. He said he did not know. Update – June 2, 2026: I have now discovered yet another issue. When the truck is in Drive during daylight conditions, the passenger-side low beam remains on along with the DRL halo, while the driver side appears to function normally. This was not something I noticed before service. I am now seeking a second opinion from another Ford dealership to determine whether the headlight was programmed or configured correctly after the BCM replacement and related repairs. The truck originally went in for a headlight concern. Since then, I have found damaged wiring harnesses, missing/improperly installed fasteners, a front camera that no longer functions, and now a possible headlight configuration issue. The fact that I am still finding problems months after paying more than $2,000 has completely eroded my confidence in Cannon Ford’s workmanship and quality control. At this point, I no longer trust Cannon Ford to diagnose or repair this vehicle. Photos and videos document the condition before and after Cannon’s work. This is no longer just about one repair issue; it is about accountability, workmanship, and whether a customer should have to find this many problems after paying for dealership service.

I buy from Robert Brashaw. He always gets the best price and super easy to work with. I highly recommend him.
