I purchased a 2014 Subaru WRX from Woodbridge Auto Sales several months ago. The car had just passed a Virginia state inspection, so I felt somewhat confident it was good to go. It looked decent overall, and I wasn’t too worried about passing Maryland inspection. Unfortunately, I quickly learned the car was nowhere near ready for the road. The A/C failed. Both front wheel bearings went out. The rear sway bar was missing bolts. The bumper that was supposed to be reattached was still loose (though they did put in a wheel liner). I got a check engine light for the gas cap and another for the fuel pressure sensor. A tune-up revealed old, fouled spark plugs causing misfires and codes (I took care of this one myself). Not long after, the rear wheel bearing failed too. On top of that, after they “fixed” the A/C, the serpentine belt shredded off on my way home. I had to limp into an AutoZone parking lot and replace it myself on the spot. I’ve reached out to the dealership multiple times, only to be promised callbacks from Jose that never come unless I chase them down. Almost five months later, I still don’t have a car that can pass Maryland inspection or get proper tags, and I’m out more money for repairs. When I asked if they would buy the car back and put me into something else, they said yes—but only with another down payment since it “starts the process over again.” After sinking everything I had into this car, that’s simply not possible. At this point, I’ll keep the WRX, fix it piece by piece when I can, and hope I eventually get it to pass inspection and get them to finally give me the tags without a fight. But I’ll be honest—I’m not holding my breath. After speaking with other local dealers, I’ve learned this place has a reputation as “bandaid artists”: fixing cars just enough to sell them, knowing things will break shortly after. I’m aware I bought the car “as is,” but it was sold under the premise of being roadworthy and “inspection ready.” Several local VA inspection shops told me there’s no way the car should have passed with bad wheel bearings and a sway bar bolt missing alone minus all the other issues. Final word: Do not go here. Avoid at all costs. They boast about their Google reviews, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t be surprised if many of them are fake or bought. If they somehow come through with an alternative to make this right I'll happily edit the review. For now this is my experience
Buying a new car can be stressful, but Marty and his staff made this experience as easy as possible. I would recommend Woodbridge Auto Sales to anyone interested in buying a new vehicle.
I have been treated very kindly every time I go there. The information provided by them is always crystal clear. Highly recommended. satisfaction guaranteed. Lili and Karla know how to treat their customers.
Great place to lease a vehicle. They work very well with the buyers it's all about communication with them. The vehicles that they have are at a very good pricing the best I have seen so far. And the staff is friendly that helps with what ever you may need.
