I must highly recommend the sales associate Kevin Gorman at Toyota of Bastrop. After first interacting with him some months ago in my search for a low-mileage 4Runner, he has kept up with me, and called periodically when something has come in that he thinks might fit what I am looking for, I did eventually find my deal through Car Gurus and will be picking up that vehicle tomorrow. When I told him of the vehicle, mileage and price I am getting it for, he genuinely seemed happy for me. I have a Toyota household. My son will be graduating in a few. He has his eye set on a Toyota 86; I mean he is every bit as enthused over that car as I was for one of that car's forebears in the 1980s, The Corolla GT-S. It's kinda in our blood that when we find something good, we stick with it. Sales people like Kevin Gorman make that a whole heckuva lot easier!
I'll never buy another vehicle from Toyota of Bastrop or get my car serviced there... Worst dealership ever!!! Once they get ur money they are done with you! When they owe you money they wanna play games... Been waiting over a month for my gap refund BC I refinanced my car... And all they wanna do is play games... Tell me I'll have a check in two days on Thursday.This is all BC their employee never even filled for my refund that was supposed to be done a month ago... And they still don't have my money!!! Never again!!! You can't hold your empyees accountable for their job ill take my money somewhere else.
I recently purchased a pre-owned Corolla, 2017, paid cash signed the paperwork went to get into the car and leave and was presented with a single key. I inquired about a spare key and the key fob to which received a lengthy explanation about the car being purchased by them from another dealership and this was all they had. Attempted to sell me a key fob at employee cost and would contact me the following day. Never did. Went into the dealership two days later requesting a spare key. Kevin the sales manager continue to provide a lengthy explanation with no resolution except me purchasing $150 key from them. I requested to speak with his boss or the owner to which he introduced me to Art, the dealer principal is what he called him and the owner. Art also gave me a lengthy explanation about the sales price of the car. I explained to him that should have been presented to me prior to me purchasing the vehicle. He attempted to inform me the price of the car would have been more expensive to which I told him I would not have paid any more than I did. He continued to tell me I would never have known. Nothing but shadiness on every level. I recommend no one purchase a vehicle from this dealership due to Shady business practices. There are too many other Toyota dealerships to do business with. Do not reward Shady businesses with your business. Also, always ask about Minor Details such as a spare key and a key fob!
I recently bought my THIRE Prius from Toyota of Bastrop. Had a very positive experience with the help of Denise Williams, salesperson extraordinaire!! The Prius is exactly what I need with its hybrid gas/electric engine (very low emissions to help save our environment), safety features like the back-up camera, and quality craftsmanship which keeps the trade-in value in the high range. I highly recommend Toyota of Bastrop for your next vehicle purchase.
