What Others Say

I can not say enough great things about this dealership. I came in to test drive some cars and get an idea of what kind of vehicle I would like and ended up leaving with a BEAUTIFUL RAV4 Hybrid. Don was very patient and knowledgeable and knew exactly what I would like. Don, James, Josh and the entire team are incredible people to work with and the process from start to finish was quick, easy and super fun. This dealership is top notch and I will never go anywhere else. I am absolutely in love with my new car!! Thank you Williams Toyota of Elmira!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My lease experience has been a total disaster. They said I had to go with a local Credit Union associated with CULA (Credit Union Leasing Association) to get the $200 dollar payment I was looking for with $10,000 down payment. I even had to join the credit union with $10 in a saving account. If I didn't go with the credit union that day that, Williams said the vehicle I wanted would not be available the next day. They did not give a quote for Toyota Financing or time to review the lengthy agreement with this credit union. When I lease, I normally pay all lease payments in one lump sum. The credit union would not let me do more than 3 months in advance. When I would go with manufactures financing, they had no problem with that because it is a fixed cost spelled out in detail in their contracts. The credit union sent me an email to view my e-statements. I clicked on the link, it sent me to a site asking for my wi-fi password to continue. The credit union would also share my email address with third parties. I requested a quote with Toyota afterwards to lease the same vehicle with same down payment, the monthly quoted payment would have been $125 per month for the same length of time. I told friends where I got the lease and they all said that this dealership is not fair and very misleading. Do not go to this dealer unless you get a lawyer to review the proposed agreement from someone other than the manufacture. Trust is earned. I filed a dealer complaint with Toyota. I blame myself for this not doing my homework and recognizing the lies being spewed but I assumed that Williams being a Toyota dealer it would be a very trustworthy and transparent organization. Boy was I wrong. Bottom line is: DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH WILLIAMS TOYOTA OF ELMIRA, NY

DO NOT BUY A car from williamS THEY DO THINGS TO UR CAR JUST BY SOMONE CALLING THEM TO .I HAD REAR BRAKES PUT ON THERE AND THEY WERE SO TIGHT THEY ALMONST CAUGHT FIRE .THEY WERE TOLD TO DO THIS BUY FRED GRIM OF CAMPBELL NY.

Purchased my vehicle from Williams Toyota of Sayre, PA in 2018, though I live in NY. My check engine light came on and my repairman gave me the computer # needed for the repair and said I should check to see if it was covered under warranty. I called Williams of Elmira and they would not tell me if my vehicle was covered or not." I would need to bring my car in and let them inspect the car - no fee if the repair was under warranty, $125.00 just to inspect it if it was not under warranty and let me know what I ALREADY KNOW!!!. Unbelievably poor service and unethical business practice.

My recent experience here was not only frustrating but also shameful and a poor representation of your family of dealerships and the franchise you are representing. I had made an appointment with the service department because my car was having an electrical issue causing it to fully drain the battery every night. I specified that I would need a loaner vehicle as their location is over an hour from my home. I was informed that the first available appointment would be two weeks out. I took the appointment and spent the next two weeks jump starting my car every morning to get to work, and again every afternoon to get home. When I arrived I was informed that they did not in fact have any available loaners. Grudgingly I left the car and walked across the highway to the field and stream to kill some time while they looked at the car. An hour and a half later they called to inform me that they had completed the 5,000 mi service but needed more time to diagnose. They couldn't provide me with a time frame, and still no loaner vehicle. They said I could come back another time for a loaner of I wished, however this was supposed to be that time!! After pointing out the flaw in their logic I decided I would take the vehicle elsewhere. Williams Toyota had my car in their possession for a cumulative one hour and forty five minutes. In that time I was billed for one hour of diagnostics as well as the 5,000 Mike service. I do not believe for a second that they had my car in a lift for anywhere near the hour and a half that I was billed for. I had spent about three years working for a much larger dealership and in all my time I have never experience the shocking disrespect that I did here. I will be taking my vehicle back to the dealership where I used to live and I will be using it as an excuse to visit friends and family. After calling the service manager at my previous Toyota dealer he said I could drop the car any time and that a loaner would be waiting for me. That is customer service. Williams will not be seeing another penny of my money, and I pitty they fool that continues to support them.

Took our 2012 Tacoma in with a gear slipping issue. Adam swore up and down that they "almost never" see a Tacoma that needs a new transmission but ours did. Instead of going for a second opinion we trusted Adam and the boys. $3600 later for a rebuilt tranny and once we picked up the truck the AC doesn't work. Husband contacted Adam about this and once again he swore up and down it wasn't the services departments fault, he did offer us an appointment so they could look it over. Fool me once, but not again Williams. We have purchased 2 expensive vehicles from this dealership.....but not going there again.
