. I recently purchased two vehicles, and overall, I had a positive experience with the dealership. The facility was clean and welcoming, and I appreciated being able to browse the lot without feeling pressured — it gave us the time and space we needed to explore our options comfortably.
I want to give special recognition to our salesperson, James. His professionalism, patience, and genuine attentiveness played a major role in our decision to move forward with not just one, but two purchases. If it hadn’t been for James, we likely would have walked away. He made the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish, and truly went above and beyond.
Justice, another team member, became more approachable and pleasant once it was clear that we were serious buyers, which helped improve the dynamic during the process.
However, the experience was not without its challenges. The process took nearly seven hours — much longer than expected — and I believe there is room for improvement in making transactions more efficient. In addition, the sales manager’s approach came across as lacking in the soft skills and customer service qualities that are so essential in this industry. A more engaging, customer-focused attitude at the management level would have made a significant difference in our overall experience.
I want to emphasize that this feedback is not meant to be negative, but rather constructive. Since customer feedback was requested, I’m sharing my perspective honestly, and with the hope that it will support continued growth for the individuals involved. I work in a leadership role myself as a regional manager, and I understand firsthand how demanding these roles can be and how critical soft skills and emotional intelligence are to long-term success. I also understand that no experience is ever perfect — and sometimes things fall short despite best efforts.
In spite of the areas for improvement, the dealership itself left a strong impression. Thanks to James and the quality selection of vehicles available, we left satisfied with our purchases. That said, I believe that if I had felt more heard and valued throughout the full experience, it would have increased the likelihood of me returning as a repeat customer.. but I’m not discounting as I believe we are all flawed, including myself and I will see how my other experiences are.
Justin is outstanding to work with! Very professional, and KNEW HIS STUFF! The other staff at Corwin were also great to work with. Very pleased with my experience. Will certainly go back for service, etc. This is my third Highlander purchase, but the first here. I can’t say enough about my very positive experience, and Justin is a big part of that.
They didn't deliver the as per the agreement. It was to have paint protection and pulse brakes and did not. They didn't know these items had not been completed. Then they said couldn't add these items for a week. They said the problem was because they had to get the car from another dealer. we don't understand that excuse as they received the car on Monday am and we picked it up on Wednesday pm. and we had to wait 2 hrs past our appt time to receive the car. Also, survey asks us to rate James Moore, no idea who that is. Our salesman was Mitch
James was exceptional with assisting us with our purchase of a 2024 Grand Highlander. We were looking to upgrade to a larger vehicle compared to our 2013 Rav4 to accomodate our growing family, and James made that possible! He went above and beyond expectation by quickly corresponding via phone, text, and email, promptly answering questions, and even going as far as to send videos of the vehicle and measurements compared to our current car. We are very pleased with James' assistance in this purchase!
