It is so refreshing to deal with a business who truly puts their customers first! I Just leased my 2nd VW from Nemer and had the pleasure of again working with Archie. He was incredibly kind, professional and efficient. He turned my wish into reality within days and respectfully walked me through the nuances of the technology in the vehicle. Could not be more pleased with the experience. :}
I recently leased my third automobile from Nemer. The salesperson who I dealt with, Jacob was very professional and personable as well. All in all a pleasant experience.
My opinion Pam in the Service Department is hands down the best at Nemer. Has assisted me with all of my appointments, questions and concerns. Pam deserves to be acknowledged by the dealership.
I normally don’t do this but this time it’s warranted. This is my second time dealing with Nemer. My first experience back in 2021 was great, everything was smooth and I was taken care of. Fast forward to 2024 I’m back at Nemer to purchase a newer vehicle. The process was smooth and easy with no issues. I was told my vehicle had been detailed, passed inspection and received an “oil change” 2 weeks from the day I purchased my vehicle and drove off the lot at Nemer I went to Midas to have new wheels and tires installed. I watched the service technician pull both of these filters from my vehicle. The cabin filter was caked with nesting material from what must have been mice. The second was the engine air filter that was covered in debris. Both filters were the original filters from 2021 when the car was purchased. I reached out to Nemer VW, Paul who what’s the salesman that I dealt with I also reached out via phone to the manager of Nemer VW who declined to get back to me. Paul stated to me that in fact and oil change was done but an inspection of the filters is not something that is done. As someone who has purchased man vehicles from multiple dealers not once have I ever not had my filters inspected, changed or even asked if I wanted to have them replaced with new ones (at my expense or the dealers). Never have I ever felt so disregarded by a dealership before and as someone with a wife who is 26 weeks pregnant we were both breathing in the debris from the cabin filter. I have not been reacted back out to in regards so rectify this situation which leads me unfortunately have to post this negative review.
A Challenging Customer Experience with NEMER Volkswagen in Albany, NY I moved to the Albany region with high expectations of exceptional customer service. My initial experience with NEMER Volkswagen, one of the largest dealerships in the area, was thought to positive, till my enthusiasm has been overshadowed by a significant issue post-purchase. I bought a Volkswagen Atlas with them, fully equipped, including bicycle transborder accessories. Unfortunately, a persistent noise has plagued my driving experience, starting at just 30 miles per hour. When I reported this to NEMER, I was surprised to learn that the issue is well-known but unresolved. The service team informed me, without hesitation, that there is nothing they can do about it, which left me in disbelief. This lack of resolution is deeply disappointing. I invested in what I thought would be a dream vehicle, only to discover that a known issue was sold to me without any warning. The proposed "solution" is to seek out aftermarket accessories, which is far from ideal. I'm sharing this experience as a caution to others and a call for the NEMER dealership to reconsider their approach to customer service. I hope to find a more sensible resolution soon and will provide updates as my situation progresses. Thank you for your attention.
