What Others Say

I have purchased a number of Subaru's from this dealership and the sales and service experience has been excellent

My daughter purchased a 2021 Ascent on 02/24/24. The price was $31995 with $3000 minimum trade-in. At time of vehicle paperwork and pick-up. she was informed that the price was actually $34995. $31995 plus $3000 trade-in. This was misleading advertising at its best. We understood this price, as shown, $31995 minus $3000 minimum trade-in. Cars.com on its website posted the vehicle at $31995 FAIR DEAL. She is now driving the most expensive 2021 Subaru Ascent in Wisconsin. Just do a comparison research on Carguru and Cars.com. Gustman's can do better then this, and not use these types of sales tactics. The Gustman Family Legacy has been tainted. I purchased a new 2018 Outback Touring from this dealership and was very satisfied. I will need to be more diligent in my dealership selection next time. My daughter should be refunded the $3000 due to the inflated price.

I have bought cars here before. Always a Subaru. The sales person, Mark, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would recommend him and Gustman Subaru.

I bought a car from another dealership. Check engine light came on 2nd day. After their apathy, I brought it to Gustman Subaru- the service department was stellar. Thorough, kind, punctual! You guys have my business going forward.

After doing plenty of research I decided I had wanted to purchase a Subaru for my next vehicle. I had gone to Gustmans Subaru in Appleton and dealt with a salesman named Ed. He was informed that I was interested in the Subaru Crosstrek and was interested in the orange limited version. Upon calling the dealership to inform them I found this specific car online, Ed told me he would call me when it arrived at their dealership. I never received a call or heard back. I had purchased my Crosstrek through Sommer's in Mequon and was very pleased with their service. Unfortunately, Gustmans was the closest dealer for me to have my oil changes and maintenance done. I had brought my car in for my first oil change and the service department had "forgotten" that I had a warranty package and charged me for my oil change. Upon my second oil change, the gentlemen in the service department explained the mix-up and told me that I would receive all 4 of my "free oil changes" that I paid for in my warranty. Upon calling to schedule for an oil change, I tried explaining to the receptionist on the phone issues I was having going on with my security system and she told me in a very rude tone "we don't have time for that". I ended up just scheduling for my oil change. Upon going in for my 5th oil change, which should have been my 4th free one, I was charged for this oil change as I was "over the mileage" that is covered for the 4th oil change. I explained to them that they told me I would not be charged for this but they didn't care. When I told the receptionist that they screwed me out of an oil change and I was upset her response was "I hope you have a better New Years." The service department here is very slow. Every time I came in for a regular oil change and maintenance check, I was there for a minimum of an hour and a half. The last oil change I received from them they had forgotten to put a plug back in my car, leading to my car leaking oil. I took my car into Sommer's in Mequon and they found the problem immediately. I am overall very displeased with this dealer and do not intend on utilizing them in the future. I will make the 1.5 hour drive to Mequon for my services on my car in the future.

We bought a new Subaru from Gustman's a couple of years ago. It's been a great car with no issues. Recently my wife was in Appleton running errands and a light on the dash appeared indicating a problem with the tires. It just so happened that she was near the dealership and she stopped in for help not knowing the extent of the problem. Within minutes her car was taken in to the Service Department and the issue identified, corrected, and the car returned to her with no appointment and NO CHARGE! Thank you Gustman's from a happy Subaru owner, family, and yes the dog too.
