What Others Say

I found a vehicle on their website and reached out for more details, to which they confirmed was still available at the price I saw it listed for. Later on, they did admit the price was a mistake, but assured me they would honor it. I submitted a finance application and shortly thereafter received a call that I had a “really strong approval”. They sent me over the details of the loan (down payment, monthly payment, interest rate, etc…). MICHAEL SHARPTON, the SALES MANAGER at Jeff Wyler Nissan of Louisville, told me the bank needed a couple of documents to finalize the deal. I wasn’t able to obtain one of these documents until the next day, to which Michael assured me they would hold the vehicle for 48 hours for me. Michael’s communication with me became short and only via email, even after I requested that he call me. The next morning I sent over the last document the lender needed to finalize the deal. Michael eventually replied, said he would send the document to the bank, and get back with me once it was “approved”. Eventually, he called me and said he had some not-so-great news. He stated that the bank was now denying the loan for the vehicle I was interested in. This didn’t make any sense though, considering I had a “really strong approval” the day before, with an APR of 8.79% on a used vehicle. I asked him several times why the bank was denying it now and all he could tell me was, “well this is what banks do” and “banks can change their minds” and “an approval isn’t really an approval” and blah blah blah — statements that just didn’t seem quite right. I said I wanted an answer from the bank and why they were now denying me. He told me he was going to “escalate the issue to someone higher up” at the lender. Shortly thereafter, he calls me back and makes several more questionable statements: “The bank is denying a loan on this particular vehicle now. I’ve put in the exact VIN and they are denying it. They don’t think this is the vehicle for you. They think you need something different. They want you to be in something different with a lower price. I don’t know why they are denying it now. You should be thankful you are even getting a loan, I basically had to beg this lender to even touch you.” So yesterday I had a “really strong approval” and now he’s claiming that he had to beg them to give me loan? I just simply don’t believe him at this point. I told him since he couldn’t give me an actual reason to their denying me for the loan on this vehicle, I was going to call them myself. This made him completely irate. “Well if you think I am lying to you then we just can’t do business with you.” I asked him several times for the name of the bank before he finally gave it to me. I also asked for the application number to which he said, “see you don’t know what you’re talking about. That’s not even a thing.” Oh, and he also threatened to CALL THE POLICE on me during this conversation if I showed up to the dealership. I call the bank, the representative pulls up my details, and states that NOTHING has changed with the loan terms for that specific vehicle. He stated they received all necessary documents, and were waiting on the dealership to finalize. Michael was lying and gaslighting me about everything. I call Michael back. He states, “I have the denial right in front of me. I’m not lying to you. I just can’t do business with you” blah blah blah. More lies. More gaslighting. I get transferred to another manager, Ryan Amburgey. Ryan was completely aware of this entire situation. He stated, “Unfortunately, the vehicle has been sold. We don’t do holds on any used vehicles at all, it’s against company policy.” He then went on to dismiss Michael’s actions, referring to the whole situation as just a “misunderstanding”. Again, more gaslighting. I was treated horribly by this dealership. I caught them in a giant web of lies. This was a nightmare of an experience. Do NOT do business with Jeff Wyler.

One of the best dealers in the Midwest. Great people one very friendly. I highly recommend them

I had my Nissan towed in because my 2023 Nissan rogue broke down on the side of the road. When it broke down, nobody contacted me. They lost the keys. They couldn’t find the keys in my nightmare began when you called there. Nobody called you back for days weeks needing to find out what was wrong with my vehicle and when they did call you back, it was as if you were speaking to someone???? Lights were not on!! It was so frustrating they were rude and they acted nice when you got there but when you are on the phone, they gave you very little information. Come to find out the vehicle needed. A whole new engine coolant leaked into the engine so the power train was damage damaged. I waited Six months for a rebuilt engine they claimed . We received the vehicle back in November one week later it broke down, we towed it back to Jeff Wyler. They gave us a dirty disgusting rental. We were lucky that we got that because getting a rental from them is frustrating alone the disease inside that car was so sick. We were told the car needed to learn the engine. We waited to get the car back we were told don’t ever come back when we did get the car back this was from Christie McCullough and Jack in service the service manager who pretends to be nice to you however behind your back not a nice guy we receive the car back come January it breaks down again. I emailed Jack I email Christine or Christie whatever her name is I never get a response back so I take it to Collins Nissan it’s the mass sensor fuel sensor. Jeff Wyler is liars. They said they would buy the car back because it was new and they were putting in a new engine. They gave me a horrible price. I bought it brand new. It was only four months old. They gave me the runaround. They never called, emailed they would put no documentation nothing in writing. I even would call Jeff Wyler the owner and he didn’t like that at all. Oops sorry what a horrible company I would never buy a Nissan ever this is why they’re going out of business.

Jeff Wyler Nissan is the best Nissan dealer in the area! Large inventory great service dept. friendly sales staff great. Will never go anywhere else.

If you’re in the market for a new vehicle I recommend Rosalind Grant she is the very best! Great experience buying my new car.

My wife and I bought a 2023 Rouge from this dealership. We bought our vehicle for a good price. The staff in total did a great job for us. We love our new Nissan. I would recommend this dealership to anybody.
