My Review of Berlin City Nissan:
We arrived at the dealership late afternoon, around 3:00 PM and Sondra was extremely patient with us as we test drove five different cars. Sondra was very knowledgeable about each and every one and took the time to listen to what we were looking for in a car.

Sondra, Guy, and Scott were all extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. We did not feel rushed at any point, even after still being there after closing! We would definitely recommend Sondra and this dealership.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were able to locate a vehicle for me which which was extremly difficult to find within an extremely reasonable amount of time (1 day). The staff was knowledgable about their product and very informative regarding any questions that I had regarding my purchase. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this dealership to others interested in the purchase of a new nissan.

My wife and I had a very good experience with the team over at Berlin City Nissan. The Sales person Jim Craves was very nice and helpful. He answered all our questions. I would recommend the dealership and Jim to my friends and family. He is an excellant sales person and he made us feel right at home.

Jose was great, he clearly is an asset for you. We went to two dealers and Jose had the skill and personality to make the sale. He also has had great communication since the sale.

The only thing that could be better is the scheduling of the 3000 mile checkup from the service dept. This appt was made for us, left on my voice mail, and I have long since forgotted the date. I would rather have a teaser reminder that an appt needs to be scheduled, that would be more efficient for me.

My Review of Berlin City Nissan:
The start of the buying process started out great. Then, three days later we noticed that there was some undisclosed body damage to our NEW vehicle. There was a three to four inch gash on the side by the right rear corner panel and there had been some bondo work done along with some clear coating. When we told the dealership, they said "what do you want us to do about it? We don't have to disclose any damage that is less than $1500" I think that this was the worst customer service possible! we purchased a NEW car! You expect it to be new! The only other thing that we were told they would do is if there was any "rusting" that occured, they would warranty that beyond the regular warrantee just for that area. If we had not taken a weekend trip with our new vehicle, we would have returned it but because we put over 200 miles on it, we couldn't. I would not do business with this dealership again and would definately NOT recommend it anyone! And if I knew someone had purchased a car from them, I would make sure THEY looked over their vehicle carefully so that they don't run into the same hassle we have.

My Review of Berlin City Nissan:
Found a car on-line in Portland. Had the car delivered to New Hampshire where we were vacationing. Car had undisclosed damage on door, door did not close properly. I refused to sign paperwork or accept car till I spoke with Keri, who assured it would be fixed right.Signed paperwork. Dealership in New Hampshire were very helpful and arranged to make repairs on vehicle on the next day. Signed paperwork and on way to vacationing room received a call from Keri stating that they (New Hampshire dealership) couldn't get the car in for repair, offered a $100-150 for the damage...I assumed she didn't know they had already made an appointment to fix it, and assumed it was going to be fixed. The next day I went to pick up the car assuming it was fixed, but it hadn't been touched. The body shop manager stated Jeff Benoit had called and told her not to fix it. Several calls later I finally got in contact with Jeff and told him I would not accept the car as it was and he said he would call me right back. Never heard from him again. Over an hour later the body shop manager said she had gotten the go ahead to fix the door, and to come back Monday (This was Friday afternoon). Also said Jeff was going to call and touch base with us and tell us they were going to fix it. Still haven't heard from Jeff. Car was eventually fixed thanks to the dealership in New Hampshire. This is the second vehicle in 6 months I bought from Portland Berlin City, and both times had to fight to get some undisclosed damage fixed when the car was delivered. The Suburban I bought had a broken wiper motor and the instrument cluster did not work properly. Thankfully GM went good for the instrument cluster even though the warranty was expired. One last thing I don't like about Berlin City is the added vehicle warranty policies they add to every vehicle they sell without telling you about them (over $2000 added cost on the latest vehicle purchased). They treat you like gold till the paperwork is signed, so make sure it is right before you sign.

Working with both Keri and Jason was a great experience. Keri was very helpful when answering questions about the vehicle and was also very patient with any other questions I had. She took the time to make sure I was getting the best deal possible. And, as a first time auto buyer, she was very patient with me. Jason was also very helpful. He actually made sure that I understood how my payments would work out with several different warranty options selected. Both employees were great to communicate with, and all over the phone!

My Review of Berlin City Nissan:
We bought a Nissan Titan in 2004, also an Xtera the same day. Since that time I have traded in my Xtera, but have had nothing but BIG troubles with the Titan. One transfer case, new brakes, rotars, wiring harness, seatbelts, all within 36,000 miles. Within one year, the transfer case went again. After that was repaired, the motor went with 80,000 miles on the truck! The service department basically said oh well, your loss. We can't give you more than $3000 trade in, because we the dealership will loose to much money. What about us, the customer! We paid $35,000. for the truck. I guess it doesn't matter how much money the customer looses, as long as the dealership doesn't loose money. We since have purchased a 2008 Ford, and love it. Never again will we buy a Nissan, nor will we ever buy again from Maine Mall Motors. They don't care about the customer, after the vechile is out the door, and the service department never returns calls in a timely manner, and has very poor customer relation skills. We highly advise against buying anything from this dealership, and never bring a vechile for service there!

My Review of Berlin City Nissan:
Went in looking to compare with Toyota. Sales person was great, but finance mngr was incredibly rude. I was ready to buy after dealing with my sales person, after talking with finance guy I left angry and put down. I was trying to discuss the price but didn't realize that it was closing time. Obviously the finance person had somewhere to be because he was slamming books and rushing my sales person. I hadn't even been introduced to him but he felt the need to interject his opinion into the conversation. His comments were basically that I could either buy a new car at full retail or their used demo- I was lucky to be getting any price reduction. Turns out there is a reason people buy Toyota- I could get a better deal with less out of pocket! If you are looking to shop Nissan there are other Nissan dealers within driving distance- go elsewhere.
