My Review Of Egolf Motors:

Had truck one week and the torque converter is faulty and it is going to cost $700 in just parts to fix it and I shouldn't have to pay to get it fixed cause I got a buddy that owns a shop and he put it on the computer and he said that there is no way it went bad that fast. I am 100% disappointed in the service I got from egolf and I will not be back and I will sure to tell everyone not to go there either.

My Review Of Egolf Motors:

Last January I bought a Dodge Avenger from Egolf. I had a wonderful salesman, Lee, and he made the whole "car buying" experience really nice (which is refreshing to anyone who has ever bought a vehicle from a dealership). But since I bought this vehicle, I have had nothing but problems, literally from the first month. I had a really bad experience with the Service Department and the Service Manager and I had written a pretty bad review of this dealership, but since then Jay Egolf himself has called me to talk about the problems I had and the really bad service I experienced at Egolf.

The sales staff at Egolf is absolutely wonderful. The car itself and the service department leaves ALOT to be desired. But I am pleased that Jay Egolf is going to help to make my situation better. I think it's great that he is actually going to take time out of his busy schedule to help fix the issues I have with his Service Department and the car. That really says ALOT about a person. So my opinion has greatly changed and I'm willing to give Egolf another chance and I really think you should too.

My Review Of Egolf Motors:

In September, 2012, I purchased a 2006 Ram, quad cab, 4x4, diesel with 108k miles from Egolf that I had seen on their website. My salesman was Peter Walgate. We almost closed the deal on my 1st visit, but I had arrived late(5:30pm) and we could not get financing worked out. By 9:30am the next morning the Business Mgr. called to tell me all my requests had been met concerning interest rate and amount of monthly payment. I was not trading a vehicle and live 45 miles away, in Greenville, S.C., so I told Peter it might be a couple of days until I could get someone to bring me to Hendersonville to get the truck. He volunteered to come and pick me up when he finished with a customer he was working with. In a couple of hours we were on the way to the dealership. The paperwork went smoothly. The Business Mgr. explained everything thoroughly and soon I was on my way home in my new ride. I don't usually enjoy going to a dealership where I don't know anyone and don't know how they treat customers, but that wasn't a problem here. Peter is very down to earth and friendly and NO pressure was ever exerted on me to make a deal. There are at least 2 Dodge dealerships closer to me, but I plan to go back to Egolf when my truck needs service. I am the 4th owner and the truck was originally sold by Egolf and has been traded back and resold by them every time, so they know it's history well.

My Review Of Egolf Motors:

We came to Egolf to start our shopping for a new car. We were so impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail by Mr. Wilson that we shopped no further and bought our new Jeep. We had done our research as to the car we wanted, and once we met several employees, we new we had found our dealership. We had also checked with neighbors who have had their cars erviced at Egolf. They all reiterated how thrilled with were with the professional service and attention to detail. When one is making this large an investment, it is so good to find a dealer that you can trust!

My Review Of Egolf Motors:

This company charged me close to 100 dollars to diagnose the problem on my jeep liberty. They went on to say that i needed change a very expensive engine ventilation valve. I did a search online and found that the turbo boost charge hose could exibited the same symtems, sure enouth there was a hole in the hose cousing the problem. You would think that their high priced mechanics could find a hole in a high pressure hose. I ordered the hose from them (parts dept was very good to work with) and that solved the problem, but they refused to give me a refund on the misdiagnosis. I feel cheated, and told them so.
They did the same thing to a school teacher & young mother friend of mine. This time she bought the vehicle from the brevard store, the saleman assured her that the vehicle was covered under a warrentee for so many miled, then when she had a problem, with the engine, they tried to force her into paying for a diagnosis, and then told her it was not covered. Cheap folks here if you ask me... I wont deal with them again.
Then Jay Egolf sends me an email asking for a review. I tried calling him first but he was unable to take my call.

My Review Of Egolf Motors:

I've only ever received excellent service from the entire dealership. The employees have all went the extra mile to make the deal work and/or to be sure I was satisfied with my service visits. The service department has been able to usually accommodate me
if I needed a schedule change and they do so as quickly as possible. I think it's a great business and I'll continue to go back. Buying my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee was a fantastic experience. Thanks to everyone!!
