BAD OVERALL . LIKE SHOPING FOR A CAR IN THE EIGHTYS. DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN SELLING AN OVERPRICED HIGH MILAGE CAR THAT NEED REPAIRS AND TELLS YOU EVERYTHING IS OK.

My Review of Hawkinson Nissan:
This is the second Murano our company has leased from Hawkinson. We have found Hawkinson to be very professional, detail orientated and most competetive on price and service. It is always a pleasure dealing with the Hawkinson Staff. Our most recent experience was with Joe Scialabba. Joe went the extra mile to put us in a new Murano with great features and at a great price. Couldn't as for anything more.

My Review of Hawkinson Nissan:
My husband and I had been shopping around for a new Nissan Maxima for a while. We went back to our previous Nissan dealer who didn't seem to eager to work with us. We had also purchased a couple used cars from Hawkinson in the past and decided to give them a try. The group who met us at the door were very friendly and attentive, they truly wanted to sell us a car. Kathi was our salesperson and she was great to work with. Knowing what we had in mind she worked with her manager to ensure we had the vehicle we wanted with the price we could agree on. Since then we have taken the car in for its routine oil change and again, service was great.

My Review of Hawkinson Nissan:
I took my 2008 Nissan Xterra to Hawkinson Nissan in Matteson, IL, and now I regret it. What a mistake! After $160 and no service done, I have been screwed! It all started when I received a recall notice from Nissan. I figured I had better get it fixed. The day before I took the car in, it died. I was able to get running again. I wasn’t sure if the recall part had anything to do with the car not starting. The next day I took my Xterra to this dealership and explained what happened. He told me it cost $160 for them to look at the car. What can I do? I let them look at it. After a couple of hours, he came back with a list of problems unrelated to the cause of the vehicle not starting, hoping I will buy a bunch of stuff, that the car or may not need. proceeded to tell me, he can’t complete the test without replacing the battery at a cost of $160. I asked him why he can’t put a battery in and finished the tests, so we know what is wrong with the car. He told me he would have to charge me for labor. I am no mechanic, but the battery is in a very accessible position for a professional mechanic to replace within 5 minutes and finish the tests. At this point, I felt they just wanted my money and really didn’t care about fixing the problem. I told him to give me my car back. He gave it back with a bill for $175. I asked him why I am getting a bill when he didn’t do anything? He said he did. We argued. I then asked him why is there another charge for $15? He said will remove that charge without explaining why it was there. In short, don’t go to this dealership and watch for hidden charges. I have taken my dispute to Nissan USA and to VISA. PS: I went to Costco and replaced the battery myself in under 5 minutes for a cost of $60.

I hate shopping for a new car, what a pain. But these guys made it painless. Low key, no pressure, pleasure to deal with. Too boot, I shopped a couple other places and got the best price here. Guess it explains why this is the second car I have bought from them. Customer for life? Looking like it.

p.s. Service Dept. is great and always reasonable price too. Always manage to get me in when I'm pressed for time.

My Review of Hawkinson Nissan:
This was by far the BEST car shopping experience that I've ever had. I came into Hawkinson pretty much knowing what I wanted for a NEW car. Ron approached my mom and I right away, but not in a "I need a sale" type of way. My mom and I were very impressed with the enthusiasm that Ron showed and not only that as we walked by other sales associates, they were all very friendly and seemed to work as a cohesive unit. I test drove a 2010 Nissan Altima. I LOVED IT!! Once I got into the car, I knew there was no turning back. I told Ron what I was looking to spend and I met with the GM and they worked together to make it happen. I am truly grateful for the time that they spent with my mom and I. It was the quickest car purchase ever, but it was professionally done. I will tell all of my friends about my experience in hopes that they come to Hawkinson to experience QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE and TRUE DEDICATION.

Thanks so much Hawkinson Team, you guys are AWESOME!!
